We don't have any singer like Munkh-Erdene here in Finland. He IS SIMPLY GREAT! Deep beautiful voice. Welcome to concert in Finland anytime. We have great opera bass singers but not in this genre.

I have a wish for Munkh-Erdene that he takes more songs like this to his repertuar. Songs, which need such a pure and deep voice. For example old negro spirituals like "Ol' man river" and other songs from Russia.....etc. And Johnny Cash greatest hits . That guy has a huge carisma . He is my absolutely favor as Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Paul Robeson and many other baritone and bass singers.

Ok ,so you really never hear the true bass .A true bass can play octave 2 like a toy ,their casual sound in a C2-G2 ,and you know some baritone can drop the Eb2 easily ? Munkh is bass-baritone not the fking bass ,so do you know who tf “lower than bass” is ? Its oktavist ,the true oktavist can yell at E2 ,while baritone and bass-baritone had to go down that note ,the true oktavist casual sound at B1-F2 .If you dont understand ,i’ll show you some example
@@vanzroger842 I’m sorry if I may have offended you, I understand a lot of instruments can go lower than E2 with relative ease, however, most commonly music is written for an orchestra or symphony in which the lowest instrument and the back bone of the piece is written for is the upright bass which in standard tuning has a lowest note of E2, I mean instruments aside there are vocal bassists, Avi, Geoff and so on that can all reach B1 in chest voice before breaking into their sub harmonic registers. My original answer to the question was directed at “swallowed a bass” a ‘bass’ usually refers to an electric bass guitar which also has a lowest note of E2, this is where my term “traditional bass” comes from, the electric bass guitar, in it’s base tuned 4 string configuration.

YESSS!!! This guy is absolutely GREAT, better than any other who sang this song. His deep voice is deeper than any other singers. Very pure bass I would compare him to the great Paul Robeson. T.E. Ford is good and Johnny Cash is good, but they are likely baritones. Is it possible to buy his recordings. I live in very arctic part of Lapland, a few hundred kilometres north from The Arctic Circle.

@@trololo9407 Coldest winter day has been - 53C and hottest day about +35C . Dmitri Hvorostovsky was my favorit but I do not know all Russian classic singers. I love Russian songs because I am a Finn and Finns are like Russian people we have same soul. Russian choirs are fantastic. I mourned about the death of Aleksandrovka choirs singers and when I heard about Dimas death 22.11.2017. He had a lot of finnish friends and Dima will never be forgotten in Finland. I must check those other baritones, you mentioned.
