What surprises me is how so many people remember this game show from so many years ago.
it aired in reruns on cable in the 90s-so there’s a whole generation of people that were introduced to this show
I remember this when I saw this on The Family Channel (Freeform) in the 90's.
I remember seeing it air before Name That Tune in the mid '80s.

As I recall, this episode aired on KHJ-TV Channel 9 in Los Angeles on Christmas Eve 1980.
I distinctly remember thinking at the time "10,000 --- that's some Christmas gift!!"

I believe Name That Tune was taped at CBS Television City after moving from NBC studios in Burbank.
