I think that what GG means by this song is that they don't want Jessica to be sad about what happened and to not regret what happened to her. I remember the first time I watched this FMV. I just got to know Jessica at that time and was so focused on the video that I didn't realize there wasn't Jessica's voice in this.
I don't think its for Jessica, but for the group in general. The way it reads "never going to look back" is not against Jessica. But rather, dont lose yourself chasing the past, because you will not enjoy the present. Meaning don't think of what was, but what could be. Like thinking forward towards their futures and perhaps Jessica is in that. Maybe she will never rejoin the group but they did have a friendship once upon a time. Just seeing them as friends would make me happy.

I was crying the whole time while watching this. The pain is so much. Just yesterday night, I got the opportunity to finally see them in person...its been one of my goals and i got to fulfill it... However its a bit sad that I never had the chance to see them as nine. I enjoyed that night, I cheered and sang along with them... but I cannot deny that I've noticed the difference now. Now its a different voice singing her lines and there's a space in the choreography. Though I still can't accept it, I wont be leaving them. I remember the first time I watched this FMV. I just got to know Jessica at that time and was so focused on the video that I didn't realize there wasn't Jessica's voice in this.

I don't think its for Jessica, but for the group in general. The way it reads "never going to look back" is not against Jessica. But rather, dont lose yourself chasing the past, because you will not enjoy the present. Meaning don't think of what was, but what could be. Like thinking forward towards their futures and perhaps Jessica is in that. Maybe she will never rejoin the group but they did have a friendship once upon a time. Just seeing them as friends would make me happy.

Just yesterday night, I got the opportunity to finally see them in person...its been one of my goals and i got to fulfill it... However its a bit sad that I never had the chance to see them as nine. I enjoyed that night, I cheered and sang along with them... but I cannot deny that I've noticed the difference now. Now its a different voice singing her lines and there's a space in the choreography. Though I still can't accept it, I wont be leaving them. Yesterday, I almost cried when they sang complete because that song isn't relevant anymore. But the tears finally fell when I was outside the arena and they played this song... Seriously, it had the same effect to me like Divine & ITNW Ballad ver.
