The problem I’ve had is the stomach drop feeling on rides. I have dreaded it. I’ve watched your videos for a while now. Gone through almost all of them. I’ve watched how you embrace it and relax on the rides and though I wasn’t on a rollercoaster I tried out other rides which cause the same feeling recently. I tried to use your tip of looking forward to and wanting that feeling of fear and adrenaline, and it completely changed the experience of the ride for me. I’m sure I’ll go on to bigger rides which cause more of the stomach drop feeling, and I need to trust the ride restraints more. But I just wanted to comment and say thank you. I enjoy watching you on ride and though it isn’t the same as being on a ride in person, how relaxed you are and your entire attitude to big coasters and other rides has helped me to overcome something I wasn’t sure I could. Thanks again

That stomach dropping feeling is usually airtime and for many is the best part of coasters. Used to hate it now I travel around the world just to experience more of it!

Most coasters are going to run much slower early in the day because things haven't heated up yet. Good thing to keep in mind. I plan my day at parks around that fact. Short launch coasters aren't as affected by it and neither are wood coasters. Another tip, wood coasters get much faster in the rain and so do RMC steel rail coasters. Use that to your advantage if you can.

Yeeess, Alex, Sarah is fun. I'm a big fan of her too 😁The extra track section you're talking about was part of a prior coaster, Rolling Thunder, that was left in homage before El Toro which is why that section of the ride is called the Rolling Thunder hill.
It wasn't left in homage. It was left because in order to remove the remaining piece of Rolling Thunder, part of El Toro would have to be torn down and rebuilt.

@@armandofernandez6614 Anywhere Tropical and semi-Tropical. Canna lives in shady locations near rivers and lakes. They originate from South Carolina to the Caribbean. We had them at our house in Hawaii. 😀

Nice to still see a piece of Rolling Thunder. The track still under the El Toro used to be a dueling wooden coaster. Was a lot of fun but time and wear have there effects.
So funny went on el toro, said it was rougher than expected. You had no idea it was actually screwed up and about to cause injuries.
YEAH! That was crazy watching that clip back after what happened. The very back seat was actually hurting me! I can completely understand how people got injured 🤕

My niece and I travel from New York to Great Adventure at least 4 times a year. Last year at Fright Fest we got stuck on the first ascent on Superman, just before the top. Then it started to rain sideways! Dangling above nothing but grass at 200ft for at least 20 minutes! Still our favorite ride. And Kunda Ka, and Nitro…….

I'm way late replying to this but the plants at 25:12 are canna lily's. A popular garden addition in Florida. Usually good from zones 8-10. Cover in cold freezing temps or if they are potted put them inside by a window that gets direct sunlight until it warms up. They prefer a well draining soil.

Going next June! I live In louisiana and face major struggles when it comes to being a coaster enthusiast with no parks in my state. I went on a roadtrip to Cali and got to experience Magic Mountain and the year before that i went to Cedar Point. Next june i will be roadtripping again and hitting Carowinds, Kings Dominion, Great Adventure and Hershey Park. I hope youre at one of the parks when i go. i would die to meet you ❤️

The first hour or two of opening at Sixflags Great Adventure is a great time to bum rush the outer edges of the park. All the non regulars run to the rides closest to the entrance. Normally, we would head to El Toro, but since the retracking, we wont be touching it after the last ride. 😢 glad you enjoyed yourself at my home park. Skull Mountain is a classic closer for us. They had skeletons n scary theming in it a few years ago with mind numbingly loud music, but they toned it down.
Watching this gives me confidence to visit 6 flags alone. Coming all the way from Aus and I cannot wait!!
