    This is David Schultz (real spelling : Schulz) not in his Dr D character. See how calm he is(!). Old school wrestling fans love how he protected kayfabe back in the 80s but at this point Superstar Billy Graham and Bruno Sammartino had come out and started some wrestling's dark side. I guess Schulz realized that ship had sailed and he started telling the truth.

    Seriously doubt Schultz was ever Hogan's "best friend" or that the WWF has ever been more profitable than the NFL. Anchorman 2 is too enlightening when it comes to discussing how news shows suck up to sponsors. Rather needed to be a Simpsons guest star sooner. You don't make up B.S. about the WWF being "bigger than the NFL" and say that you not sucking up to sponsorship.

    • @stevewardlaw
      @stevewardlaw Год назад +1

      They didn't say more profitable. They said "sells more merchandise." Merchandise can be a small part of overall revenue. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.
