Denise still looks AWESOME!!!! She is the one I started working out with at 12 years old back in the 80's. I might have stopped a few times here and there but I NEVER gave up and today I'm in the gym five days a week FAITHFULLY and in great shape!!!!! Denise, thank you, you STILL inspire me!!!!

Hi! Is this also for men? I am man and did this with my mother-in-law but it was brutal! I could not even last one round :( My MIL has been doing Denise's arm exercises regularly for many many years! Her biceps bulge like Denise's and she have unbeatable strength! I feel really low and defeated. :(
Who says that you have to let yourself go when you get older ? Have you ever seen a old ,over weight, out of shape deer 🦌? We are just like animals.... we can stay in shape for years and years in our older years . I'm 63 5'10 190 and still pump iron 5 days a week and do some extra abs on Saturday. You are a great motivater for people Denise. It's 9:30 am and it's chest day. Edit I'm down to 170 and getting lean . So much more energy with eating better along with lifting.
It's bs perpetuated by pharma and msm. You're absolutely right. All it takes is being legitimately healthy, eating well, avoiding toxins, and giving a shit.

You go, boy! I'm 63 and I walk 2-4 miles a day at least five days a week and do the Denise Austin 10 minute abs and 5 minute arms exercises regularly. So I'm in good shape, too
Oh my goodness, 10 days of this exercise and my bat wings and soft arm muscles have toned up again. My arms are now back to how they were in my 20's when I was working as an aircraft engineer and I'm nearly 70. Thank you so much Denise.

I use to watch Denise everday before i went to work. She has always been an absolute beauty with a smile thru her entire workout. Love her..
She Looks Amazing! Ladies, Remember to ALWAYS Hold your stomach in (All day)! After a while, it becomes an automatic habit. Someone told me to hold in my stomach when I was 14! My stomach is nice and flat at 52! Tell your daughters, your nieces, your granddaughters, every lady you know! I am SO thankful for this great advice!
It is great advice and I was told the same thing except you have to remember to breath because I got in a habit I noticed of not breathing at the same time so girls remember to always pay attention to your breathing. It’s easy to forget to breath holding in your stomach because you end up accidentally without realizing your holding your breath at the same time. But otherwise great advice.
Yes! I took that advice too. Now I have breathing issues. Chest breath vs diaphragm has caused me to hyperventilate
Please do not tell your children to do that I was told that as a child and it has made me feel really really insecure and awful you can probably give them some exercises to do but stop telling them to hold their stomach in as a child it is difficult to do and breathe at the same time and you are causing injury to them
With my mom it was all about proper posture-hold shoulders back. With proper posture the abdominal muscles naturally tighten but not too much to allow you to breathe naturally.
I took Aerobics as an elective back in middle school (7th or 8th grade - during the height of the 80s fitness craze).
One of the coach's favorite things was to start the video and hear us erupt with groans when Denise Austin's name popped up on screen. Her workouts were a different kind of burn!
I'm 50 now, and she still looks great!

I refer to Denise as my exercise BFF. I've been following her workouts for almost 40 years!!! WOW, I can't believe I'm saying that. She's a pleasure to workout with and she's uplifting and motivating. I'll be 67 soon and I'm still a size 4 petite and still feeling good about my figure. I've worked hard at it and Denise has been a major inspiration for me!!! THANKS DENISE for years of workouts and motivation! You're my fav and you're the best! This lady is a real hoot! I just loved her energy. I smiled the whole time and feel like I got a good arm workout into my day.
I am 76 and 10 years ago I had the best body I had in all my life. Now I have 10 more kilos on me even though I do intermittent eating. But when you get older you get slower. My arms used to be very slender and now I have those wings😣. I really don’t know if I can get those arms back at this age but maybe they will get a bit less wingy😂. Thank you Denise! I will do my best!

I just want to write that I adore Denise Austen I have a lot of her exercise dvds, I used to watch and do her exercises all the time and they do work! When I get back home to LI and have my own house I am so going to do her dvds again. Theres no way you can be in a bad mood while watching and doing the exercises in her dvds. She's also one of the perkiest, peppiest < I just invented a new word and one of the prettiest woman going! God bless Denise and everyone she loves!
