This second part is filmed during the end of the monsoon in one of the most famous wetlands in the Nagano region, the Yashimagahara wetland (1630m) . Very early morning, with passages of rain. Due to the weather, the sky is never blue and the light is so so. It is essentially a place for wild flowers where little birds coming from as far as Siberia breed in the tall grasses or thickets. Being a wetland, there is only one footpath. One bird is heard very often but hard to find and that is the Japanese Bush Warbler. Buntings are singing early, Amur stonechats mind their chicks. Some of the flowers are unique to Japan or to this part of the globe. Idem for butterflies.
I apologize for a typo: I spelled "preening" in the Japanese romaji way "prining".Thank you very much.
