I just finished this course. I have no other experience in this field. I'm beginning to look for a job. I'm worried about the interview process and case studies in the interview process. I was thinking of starting a page where I can showcase my work and get more practice before actually applying for real jobs. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Oh wow! Looks like Mo’s stepped up his editing game! Great video, understanding types of analysis beforehand can really help you figure out a problem that’s presented to you. Great advice, thanks!
Awesome storytelling! I have been taking the Coursera course for about two weeks now and I can definitely recommend it to anyone looking to check this field out. Thank you Mo! Really appreciate seeing an experienced Data Analyst's steps taken in this process.
I'm so glad you enjoyed the storytelling part of it! I'm trying to make more entertaining and engaging content, whilst keeping it simple and educational! Great to have you here on the channel and good luck with the course 😃
Thanks so much for this video but also all of your other content. I am currently taking an online DA bootcamp and had a similar project. And all the student examples that were posted only took into account proportions of the same group (current or exited customers) but not the retention or churn rates which takes into account of total customers at the start. I was baffled if I was doing my calculations incorrectly, but it seems like we used the same dataset. I found this set to be a good example of Simpon’s Paradox. Looking forward to more content! Maybe someday I will post too! 😊
We'd love to see more advanced end-to-end projects in Excel, SQL, and Power BI on your channel. Your content is fantastic, and we're eager for even more challenging projects.
Thanks for watching! I have lots more end to end portfolio projects on the channel. Check some out here ruclips.net/p/PLodYDTuHA29aa_5UPCNg_g5fyleHxTZPU&si=LvCeV3HK-7LjMtSC 😃
This is actually just the final step of data analytics, often referred to as "data visualization." In reality, most of a Data Analyst's workday involves wrangling and transforming raw data to get the analytics friendly data-like the file you get from Kaggle. 😊
Great video Mr. Mo, just saw this one and immediately hit suscribe. Greetings from Medellín, Colombia and thanks for your content. Already watching more of your videos.

Thank you so much for making this video. I first saw this topic on your last Q and A video, and it is fascinating to talk about and to learn about. Please keep making videos like this. Thank you so much.
Would love to see the ending presentation of this story to the stakeholders as that is the section of data analysis I have trouble with, especially when it comes to communicating with non-technical stakeholders.
Hi Mo, thank you so much for the video. I'm just wondering how do you come up with all the questions to be answered (e.g. churn rate by age group, churn rate by satisfaction score...) given a set of data in any project (or even in real life). Like, are these questions from the top executives or are there any specific metrics or guideline that help you to do this? Thank you Mo, wish you all the best!
It'll be a mixture of stakeholder interaction and using your own domain knowledge. So basically it boils down to your own experience and knowledge, combined with working with other people/teams.
hi, i have enrolled in data analyses course with coursera and now i am doing the case study project BUT i have a question about how the case study should look like when i attach it to the portfolio or the notebook? now from your video i understand that the every function i write and analysis is what i am going to paste in the notebook so is that it ? is that how i should write the study case? i am a little bit lost when i started writing the study case i am not sure how it should look like and i am not sure how to attach it. hope you answer me ASAP 😭😭😭
I will for sure! Meanwhile, I have a portfolio project playlist here ruclips.net/p/PLodYDTuHA29aa_5UPCNg_g5fyleHxTZPU&si=WaWp42GCJCUlkvbE. Feel free to check it out 😃
Really like your case study video Mo ! I actually just did case study on the same dataset you used here two weeks ago.Right now I am trying to find dataset and do Risk related projects in finance industry ,since you had experience working in the Risk field ,can you please give me some direction or advice that I should focus on? Looking forward to your future case study contents :) .
Glad it was helpful! You can go to Kaggle and just search credit risk under the datasets section. That should give you lots of financial industry datasets and projects to choose from 😁
Hey Man Big fan, i just completed Data Analytics certification from Google now i am currently doing the SQL from UC Davis but can you make a series explaning everthing step by step how to get a Job as a junior Data Analyst i mean i need some portfolio projects from start to finish, like getting the data, cleaning , analyzing and make viz on Tableau that may showcase to employers !!!
Hey bro, ty for guiding me cuz i kinda seem to like this field than other coding jobs, i wanna ask a question it may be dumb😅 Im totally new to this job placements and job hunting, do they usually keep interviews for data analytics job or do they first keep entry tests like aptitude and technical etcc for freshers in this field ??
Not a dumb Q at all! There is no standardized approach, it'll really just depend on which company you're applying to. Great to have you here on the channel 😃
Mo, thank you so much for video. It’s really cool format. Where did you take data for analysis? Can you give me a link? Because I am a beginner and I want to practice my knowledge for other databases.
Thank you for another useful video Mo. Can you please tell me how to get londitude and latitude in Churn by Country. Is it automatically generated? I'm a beginner, so please guide.
I simply used the country name column to generate the map. Just double click on it and Tableau should generate the map. As long as Tableau recognizes the country column as a geolocation column.
Should I get an internship experience as a data analyst or similar field? I'm starting my final year of uni this September in London studying data analysis. How did you kick off your career?? Need your advice Mo!!

Very cool case study! Took this as inspiration and created my own but took it one step further in Rstudio and added a logistic regression.
Fantastic! Taking it a step further is music to my ears 😃 Well done!

How long did the entire project take you to complete?
This took me about 2 hours from the moment I first looked at the dataset
Mo thank you so much.Would to tell me the area of prompt engineering..
Sorry, I didn't get your question. Would you mind rephrasing it please?

If you're in your final year, getting on a graduate scheme is probably your best choice. I started out on a grad scheme as well 😁
What software is he using
Sir how much a data scientist in your position earns in UK? Plz reply. Thanks a lot.
Depends on your experience / company / exact role. Can fluctuate widely - anywhere between 30k to 150k
🙌🙌👏👏

I don't believe in this path. Data science is dead. Only protective kids do this job.
