Not only 2k but games in general need to lower their in game pricing. Less is 100% more. So many more people would spend more money on the game is things were cheaper. $40 a build alone would have more people spending money on multiple players.
I spent 455 on the game, VC and season passes. I still have a bunch of VC left. Enough for one more build that I was gonna make for season 2 but I don’t even want to play anymore

I definitely spent at least 3 bands already on this dam game, 2k is a hobby, I spend on my hobby, I definitely get finessed and know it, so im not goin in blind wit what im doin
If people spending it can’t blame them for doing what they are doing. I’ve cut my spending on 2k the last several years but I’ve spent more on other games that countered what I didn’t on 2k. 2k to me has been slowly losing appeal to log the hours I did in the previous ones.
Brut, the reason why 2k is succeeding with profits in mycareer because the community let them get away from the true meaning of grinding your build. Back in 2k19, the real grind was grinding out your myplayer overall and the higher the overall meant something. Now every build can easily get to 99 and that causes ppl to want to make new builds over and over again. *2k has changed but the community let them by constantly making new builds*
I don’t think making the grind to 99 harder will make the game better. That actually promotes people to make even more builds. I had way more builds when the grind to 99 was way too hard because it took too long. I would get to 95 max.
@@LaMartyMar I mean you have to grind the first build out to 99 to even do what you said. I think this way is a lot better and the rebirth this year is a W. Even without spending money making my second build was easier than finishing my first. I prefer the grind for overall to be easy because most of us are grown with jobs not kids anymore. The main problem with the game is the COST of the builds. In previous 2ks I was also able to make many builds because it didn’t cost much to get them to 85.
3 builds, no money spent through all the VC glitches that were in season 1. However, 300+ hours to do this lol. Builds should cost 20$ at most to max out and we should get a free VC refund from a maxed out build to reallocate to a new build - one “rebirth” per maxed out build. I’m never spending money on 2K VC ever again, they’ve gotten too much bread from me over the years.
You're literally slow if you spend that much on a game. Kids don't know better. But a full grown adult spending over $100 on this trash after buying the game is crazy. $1000 is insane. And that's why 2k continues to put out garbage and make billions.
I'm hella pissed cuz I spent $300 and I could've avoided at least $100 of that if I would've just went with my first instinct and made my LeBron build first which is now the only build I play on but I made 2 other guard builds and wasted money on them

Having to spend VC for these double rep events is DIABOLICAL
Still rocking my 1st build, only spent $20 on pro pass
Ever since 2k23 I have spent less and less. I just grind the VC out now. The instant gratification isn’t worth it when the game is in the state that it’s in
It’s the people who keep buying 2k year after year because of the “content creators” that caused the problem in the first place
Yep,thanks for being honest and I ain't gonna lie I spent 70 on the game and 60 on a supposed modded controller that's a lie too but that's a another issue, never again and that's my first time spending 70 dollars on a game, I usually wait til the game goes down but I'm done with spending extra money on this, many prayers and blessings 🙏🙏
The 7 year dynasty method definitely helped me save money before the patch
I paid 90 bucks, bought the HOF pass twice, and 105k vc. I did the vc method in early October and racked up 500k+ vc grinding 😭 well worth it saved hella bread, I only recently bought vc to make my third build and it’s maxed now cause I had vc left over 🤣 I used to be really bad a few years ago but broke my addiction to the micro transactions cause I have a family to feed 😂
Spending 1000$ on a video game is crazy, whoever spends that much needs rehab.
$693.09 for 2k25 yeahhhhh Im doneeee spending for now. $623.10 is my VC total. But with the base game included it’s 693.09 🤯 that’s crazy!!!
I’m not buying VC this year and been having fun. Don’t blame the build or 2k, just get good at the game. The difference I’ve seen in my player from 75 overall to 90 overall is minimal, even with 75 overall I was winning and performing just as well. People are trash at the game then get frustrated and want to make new builds lmao
Got the game for free. Played it 1 time. Still haven’t spent a dollar in years on this game. No hate to the content creators,, that’s how y’all keep the engagement up. For the regular guys leave the game behind. It lost its fun factor a long time ago.
I spent no money this year and i have 99 overall builds thanks to the early mycareer methods and vc glitch. Currently working on my fourth.
cant lie i've gone back to 2k24 on the weekends. getting weird vibes from 25. city latency plus these new green windows feels bad. its like the game is forcing me to rhythm shoot if i want to be 60%+. i miss over half my shots with the button
My man’s face looks like he wants a refund lmao 😊
So what’s the best way to grind VC?
I'm convinced selling vc in any game is like selling drugs
I spent 7 bucks this year on my first my players 3 pointer and went no money spent from that point on. Got another 99 sf. I refused to give 2k money this year beyond the purchase.
Salute to Wavy but the Yankees got there a$$ whipped by the Dodgers 😂😂
I only play offline my career and my team but I don’t ever spend more than $100 each year. Just like you said I don’t have time to grind.
Well Allcity has a constant Squad of people to play with so he probably gets more out his builds than solo players.
The algorithm picks up the account's spending money and they get all the good glitching and less in game BS!
Brute how do you be grinding vc
Mycareer, pick up 4 fouls it put you in the last quarter and you just finish the quarter… and starting 5 by getting people to quit out of games…
@@brutalsimso brute do you still get the Dub and Vc if ppl quit because in my experience once people realize they’ve lost they quit instantly
Gameshared the game, paid for one 200k pack and the season passes. Already at the point where I'm not even thinking about the game atp. Think I'm done and I used to drop 1k easy for multiple builds and vc. Couldn't be happier
Where y’all be getting codes
Bruh I spent 1500$ no cap 10 builds, deleted 3 99s lol. My girl be looking at me like I'm crazy 😂.. im done tho... no matter how many i make, the game still sucks this year
I'm ashamed of how I've spent, one day I'll going to getting my history and see how much I've spent on 2k since microtransactions began in that game or far as ot will let me. But I'm sure it's something crazy. I bout the 450,000 twice already this year 😢
8 builds And I spent 394.47 this year honestly not too bad. (all builds are 90+)
Not only 2k but games in general need to lower their in game pricing. Less is 100% more. So many more people would spend more money on the game is things were cheaper. $40 a build alone would have more people spending money on multiple players.
All city popping $160 vc packs like Percs 😂😂😂😂
Brute is a comedian 😂
You can't blame 2k for that lol. Spending close to 1k in microtransactions is just reckless. The game isn't even worth it.
Even Madden trying to be like 2k to with the season pass for bonus rewards just start to do it this season too
Dude I cant believe City did this
lol I don’t understand why it’s so hard for them to not give you the option to reset your build
They are pricing out all the players. Now that its skill based im playing so many of the same people with all the issues and patches burns people out
I spent 455 on the game, VC and season passes. I still have a bunch of VC left. Enough for one more build that I was gonna make for season 2 but I don’t even want to play anymore
i’ve spent about 300, my days 1’s and irls stop playing the game so i’m forced to play 1’s bc i rather not play with other people because of chemistry n etc
At that point you can't blame 2k Jesus
You still using the VC method you posted about Brutal?
Yea you just can’t quit out after the 25 pt lead, they patched that.
@@brutalsim forsure g, gonna be hitting that grind asap then!
It be the dudes who cry and complain the most who buy the most vc lmaooo
@ I can see that but it’s not any better now when you can just buy up to a 95+ with no grinding. Then it’s easier to get badges now.
@ very true
My only real problem is 2k targeting kids, the game shouldn’t be rated E, grown ups doing dumb 💩 need to get it together
I spent $415.02 including purchasing the game. I'm glad I looked at my transactions. I'm done spending
Noti gang on deck
I spent about $300 on 5 players I don’t think it’s that bad but if you buy 1-2 builds but 2K definitely is finessing us
we legit had the same laughing ques lol shi crazy lol
I got the base game spent $100 on VC and bought each hall of fame pass thats it
3 builds, no money spent through all the VC glitches that were in season 1.
I'm hella pissed cuz I spent $300 and I could've avoided at least $100 of that if I would've just went with my first instinct and made my LeBron build first which is now the only build I play on but I made 2 other guard builds and wasted money on them
Just got 100k vc on daily
