I know this is a bit late but, if you had threaded some copper wire through the axle then the plating solution would have been transferred into the inside and it would have gotten some coverage as well. Nice results though all the same, 😎👍
I put copper wire in mine and it doesn't plate the inside just the outside.
I got a Caswell zinc plating kit from MX revial . And I still didn't use it yet!
It works wonders once you get the hang!
I always zinc my axel blocks when i redo my axels keeps it looking a little more fresh
