I’ve be restoring old cars for 20 years and everything you said was absolutely correct. Good job man!
I wish I would’ve watched this before I started
Very good video, Thank you for taking your time to show people how to do this I have been detailing for over 20 years, This is one of the best videos I've seen on wet sanding
I own a home & commercial cleaning business. I’ve heard many other cleaning companies talk about using wet sandpaper with a high grit to remove scum & other films stuck on surfaces. I think these techniques will help reduce cleaning time & the end result will be phenomenal! Thank you for this informative video.
Hey, thanks a lot for putting this out there. I'm stoked to watch more from you! As an instructor in my own field, I know what it takes to be a good teacher--and you have what it takes. You are thorough and don't expect your audience to already know--which seems obvious, but it's prevalent with those new to instructing to assume your audience knows (which defeats the purpose of teaching, but you'd be surprised). Anyhow, yeah, thanks!
Thanks!! This worked like a charm! I was pretty sure I was going to need a paint job on my bike’s fender so I figured what the hell..it’s already ruined so why not try wet sanding. I started a little nervous...but as I saw the results were occurring in steps like you said they would I got braver. I used Mothers Mag and Aluminum Polish after sanding because I did this on the fly and didn’t have the exact items you did. I then finished with Mothers Brazilian Carnauba Cleaner Wax and the results were spectacular even though I did it all by hand! Thanks again for making it look so easy because it really was.
Best video! This guy is very easy to understand- speaks clearly and helpful.
By far the best video I’ve seen about this... well done! So easy to watch & informative
I never knew it was this easy to make the touch paint to merge with rest of the paint. THANKS 🙏
A lot of people are afraid of wet sanding, but it can save sooo much time and effort and actually sometimes be safer than trying to compound out very deep scratches.
Wow that's magic. I have a black bmw E60 2005. I think I need all the sandpaper in the world to clean my car. Nice video :)
Love the professionalism of the video editing. 👍
Dude. Thank you. Easily the best detailing RUclipsr.
Thanks. This helped alot.. I was kinda nervous about it. Hitting mine today. Cross your fingers! It's a 1998 Chevy Silverado and it is beautiful!
Im new to the game and this is practices for me i pick up some tricks to make the job easier thanks
A lot of talent in a young guy, great work man!
I'm not sure how I stumbled across this page but glad I did! Excellent video!
Best video on this subject that I have seen.
Wish I had seen this sooner. I touched up some stone chips on my hood and used wet 1500 grit to blend the touch up paint flat, then 2000 grit. My cutting compound didn't get out all the marks from the 2000 grit and I think I might have scuffed up the paint a little. So I have to go back and try to do it again correctly to get the uniform haze before polishing.
Time to watch every single video on this channel.
