    Good compilation on an important aspect of investing.... The illusion of control and the probable ill effects of overconfidence that accompanies 😊

    The simple 11:29 min video, but can change the investor mindset from down to up, specially the simple and less the more 8 checklist by sir. Which cover 80/20 rule perfectly.
    Thanks for sharing sir ❤

    Thanks for this short one. Perhaps make a video on the usual traps investors fall into, at a detailed level.
    1. When multiple gurus advise a stock, but don't talk about a purchase level, and everyone gets in " No matter the price ", so even though gurus stay invested, their average price keeps reducing while retail investors endure unrealised losses.
    2. No brainer stocks like " Momentum", " Growth", " Value", " Great management", " Great products", " Great potential", are a misnormer as each of these can change at anytime, of which no retail investor knows, except when sudden price drops or annual portfolio reviews, and keeps stressing on!!

    Can you elaborate on Q4 Earnings retention test. Does it mean dividend payment by company

    • @balaji24
      @balaji24 Год назад

      No, it tells whether earnings retained by a company were invested in an efficient manner ( Good ROIC). For example, if a company earns $10 ,pays $2 in dividend it will be retaining $8 and investing it to increase earnings in future

    I am 36, is it the right time to enter the market at the highest rate of Sensex? I lost most of the previous year to savor the benefit of compunding.
