You aren't kidding. This weekend we came across four dead players in the barracks of mines. None of them had been looted so I guess it was just a mutual wipe. Crazy.
Its definitely getting more popular. I died ten times in a row on Friday, joined a discord yesterday, and trio'd with a couple more experienced players. Within three raids I made more progress than the entire previous week. As more players join, the devs are going to have to choose how they balance the solo experience vs the squad experience.
Okay I really want to play this game and my friends want to as well but we heard that the game is infested with cheaters is this true? I’ve wanted the game ever since release but never got around too getting it hopefully this isn’t true.
In my opinion it really depends on the region, the bigger the region, the more chance you can run into a cheater. Personally, I've never came across a cheater and I'm in EU. If you really want to be certain, buy the game in the next update (which will be soon). I bet there will be more fixes against them
I'm 600 hours in. Seldom see more than 5 players in a raid. Often don't see any. Normally 2. Since they added mopre teams and/or more servers, they are pretty much empty.

I really like going solo tho. But I bet after the new update that's coming, more people will def play the game👌
I can't wait for the player base to continue to grow. This game is a true gem in the genre.
