Thanks, guys, for this great video! I was trying to choose which of the many glues I ALREADY OWN to use for this same repair, and Google (finally!) told me to go with the E-6000. (Side note- I read that it's either the same formulation, or a stronger version of, the "Shoe Goo" that was annoyingly recommended over and over--- no matter how I worded my search.) But there are no instructions printed on my old tube so, in an effort to "measure twice, cut once"/do it right the *first* time, back to Google I begrudgingly went. Thankfully, I found your informative (and, BONUS: *pleasant*) video pretty quickly. I love that I'm not the only person who uses/wears quality things for ~20 years, and your son's input made me smile and forget my Google-generated aggravation 🙂 Thanks, again, and sorry for the super-long comment!

I broke my beloved boots at a show and have been looking for a more durable glue than shoe glue! thx for this tutorial from a fellow Alaskan!
You're so welcome!
How did the boot hold up after. I'm planning to use the same and I'm curious if it lasted thanks
Still going strong! Went the entire fishing season with no issues and still solid and strong as ever. Thx for watching
