Anyone watching this video wondering how they can get to the next level needs to take notes. This guy knows what he’s talking about because he’s been through the process, and he’s mastered this game through years of perseverance. Easily one of the most trusted & experienced people I know when it comes to the topics he’s discussing in this video. If you’re looking to take it to the next level then you need to seriously consider working with Nash!! Excellent video man, love seeing you post this type of content!
This is great info! I turn down sponsors all the time cause I know my audience won’t buy it but I get that one that I know will do good and they low ball me….but I do need the proof that I can sell their product and so I guess thats the direction I will go..
Hey Nash great video again. Im curious of how i can actually get metrics from some of my free projects ive made for local restaurants - i made content such as photo and video and have them on my website and it looks nice but how do i actually turn that into a case study? How can i prove that my content actually does something for my client when i am not in control of actually uploading and using the content on their behalf? I feel like i do alot but dont get any case studies because i dont know how to present the benefits of the content i creat.
Yeah totally get it. So I'm actually making a video about that very topic that will be out next week so stay tuned for that! Short answer: Circle back and ask for a quick strategy meeting with the clients you've worked with previously to walk them through how to get the best results with your videos while also guaging how they like the content and where they've used it. This is also an opportunity for you to upsell future content for them. Typically if they enjoyed working with you and like the content they wouldn't be opposed to a quick phone call. In the future, I'd highly recommend including strategy and/or implementation calls with clients to make sure they get the most use out of the content they paid for, as well as get them on a retainer to give them more consistency. Feel free to shoot me a DM on insta @nashhagen if you have more questions :)
@@nash_hagen could you also address how different sized businesses differ in terms of what information they share? Everyone would want to be able to say they boosted a client's sales conversions by x%. I'm sure there's some that are going to be tight lipped about the most useful metrics and some businesses that aren't even measuring stuff like that yet. Also not sure how to best gauge a client's sensitivity to you revealing some of the information they've shared with you, without making the conversation potentially awkward. Great content as always! 😊
@@snoopfroggyfrog7220 Yeah great question. So when you're just starting getting case studies I'd recommend working with smaller brands where you can see a pretty drastic change. EX. instead of trying to shoot 1 reel for Nike, do a retainer project for a smaller athleisure brand that needs the content bad. That way when you do get on the call you can ask general questions like how the content performed, if they were able to track back any sales to it, how their website conversion rate has been impacted (if website content), etc. Typically smaller brands will be a little more willing to give numbers because there's less corporate structure, but in the case they don't, at least you get a general feel for if your content has made an impact and can probe a bit to get a general range at the very least. Typically exact rev #s are pretty sensitive, but percentages or ranges are more fair game. Saying their avg web conversion rate increased by 15% over the past few months after implementing the video is not nearly as invasive as saying we made an extra 40K per month or something like that

yeah 100% proof sells so whatever you can get to prove ads work on your account is super important!

@@nash_hagen awesome man. Thanks for the specifics 😊
why your views are only 324? you can buy views 😂
Buying views does nothing for me other than boost a useless vanity metric. I’d rather have 300 of my target audience than 10000 bots lol
maybe this is just me but the constant animations give me a headache, man.
Appreciate the feedback. I'll keep that in mind. Don't want people feeling nauseous watching my videos haha
