💦 THE LAND OF WATERFALLS | NORTH CAROLINA MTNS (BREVARD) | FULL-TIME RV LIFE

💦 Welcome to Brevard, North Carolina. The Land of Waterfalls! There are over 200 waterfalls within Transylvania County. We brought our RV to the mountains to go hunting for a few of them!
We first checked out cute Downtown Brevard, but word to the wise - hours are pretty limited if you aren't visiting during their busy season (Memorial Day - Labor Day). But we made the best of the situation. Some recommendations include O. P. Taylors Toy Shop, Rocky's Grill and Soda Shop, and Hawg Wild BBQ.
Brevard is also home to the famous White Squirrels, which, according to legend, fell off the back of a carnival truck many moons ago. We never spotted a real one, but if you look closely, see if you can spot 6 white squirrels in our downtown adventures!
There was no way we were going to see all the waterfall in the area, but here are a few we did see!
Cove Creek Falls (50 feet tall, 2 mile loop trail)
Looking Glass Falls (60 feet tall, roadside)
Moore Cove Falls (50 feet tall, 1.5 mile trail roundtrip)
Sliding Rock (60 feet tall, fee for use during summer months)
Hooker Falls (12 feet tall, 0.8 mile trail roundtrip)
After relaxing in the mountains for a few days, we left for the Spring Carolina Breakaway Festival for some more fun! It feels like Summer is finally starting, and we are excited to bring more nature AND music adventures your way!
