I hava Fortigate and Mikrotik on two different hosts, and i want to connect the two hosts with same subnet. haw can i do that without overlapping subnet?

I followed every single step of this video but not able to make tunnel between fortigate and mikrotik, in mikrotik active peer optoin there is a message "message 1 sent" where I am doing mistake?
The origin of the issue you're facing isn't evident. Verify the Mikrotik logs for insights. It's possible the traffic flow is unidirectional (Mikrotik sends but doesn't receive). Ensure to examine routing and accessibility on both ends
this is no need config route in the mikrotik ?
