    Blame is mostly on Watson, he played his best game this season and it still was no where near good enough. 57% completion, 196 yards, 2 fumbles lost, 27.3 qbr, hangs on to ball to long, can't read a defense, and averages about 8 over throws a game. He's been trash for 3 years now. Watson ranks 31st in qbr this year.

    Both are significant. Giants are not the worst team in the league and tbh if they’re in fact the 15th BEST team - that should worry much of the NFL. The QB contract is favorable moving forward…

    • @Clay_F
      @Clay_F 4 дня назад +2

      That's right the Giants are not the worst because the Browns are way worse than they are. Browns defense made Danile Jones look like a Pro Bowl QB and the offense made the Giants defense look like a #1 D. Hope Myles gets his feet fixed. Browns can keep Watson in. If he figures it out great, if he doesn't, they might be high enough in the draft to get a QB. No point in putting Winston in.

    Cleveland’s offensive line is all banged up. New York isn’t anything special. They caught the Browns at the right time. Cleveland starters didn’t even play in the preseason. They are horrible and the coach is on the hot seat. Deshaun Watson isn’t the player he was in Houston. New York is a bad team. They are beatable. Cleveland should of pulled out that win late in the game but their offense is very inept and inconsistent.

    Both stories are big. However the Browns were playing without Chubb and Njoku and had 3 starters out and a guard playing tackle.
    The Giants now have consecutive games with 3 offensive tds and first quarter TDs in consecutive weeks when we're used to not scoring in the first quarter.

    • @samsohn
      @samsohn 4 дня назад +8

      The Giants fumbled the kickoff and gave up a TD within 15 seconds. They dug themselves a hole on the road and climbed out against a great Defense.

    • @mickpratt8327
      @mickpratt8327 4 дня назад

      @samsohn Agreed, there's no denying what the Giants did offensively in this game. Jones was ok and was bailed out twice by Nabers on would be picks. Nabers was magnificent with 2 td grabs and 2 Int breakups one of which he turned into a catch. He's already a top 6 or 7 reciever. The defense was playing against an offense that was decimated by injury. Cooper was their only legit weapon and he had better numbers than Nabers. Banks is not a CB1.

    Cleveland would be better with Darnold or Minshew, if you struggle to get 9 wins you bring in a better available QB to compete for the job. Management for the Giants wants to win, they also will swap Jones out for a better available QB if they win more than 5 games and more than a few can be as good as Jones. If Jones goes cheap Cleveland could bring him in, if they struggle that is probably your best destination to have a Darnold year or not.

    41 hits and 16 sacks - worse than then the worst he faced in Houston and that was historically bad. Mahomes would suck behind that line. Watson cranked it up for clutch time and Cooper helped but Ford had an unforced fumble. In the next drive, Tilmen dropped a 45th down pass that hit him between the numbers.
