Glad it was helpful for you. I have not gotten to the rebuild stage, but I couldn't find any good notes or videos on this area, so I am glad the effort was helpful.
Im 2 years late, but I have a 92 and its original vacuum lines have been starting to pop on me so this video is going to make replacing them so much easier, thank you!
Glad to help out. It was very helpful when I put mine back together. Be aware it puts it back to "factory" (best I can tell), there are other ways to do this that eliminate some of the lines, but I opted not to do that. Good luck with your car.
@@AGeeksGarage thank you! Currently my car is mostly oem aside from a boost controller and lowering springs installed by the previous owner. Do you know what size the vacuum lines are and how much I need to use? I plan on doing it tomorrow and I hope I don't need to make two trips to autozone lol. Thanks again for the help!
@@connorarndt1726 I took one of the lines to AutoZone and got the closest match I could find there off their bulk roll. They took me in the back and let me choose which one I wanted. I also tried getting some off Amazon but nothing matched as good as the stuff I picked up from AutoZone. I believe its 3.5mm id, but finding 3.5mm id is difficult. Good luck to you and please leave a comment to let us know how it went.
@@AGeeksGarage Ive been giving a go at it for the past couple hours, and Ive come across some troubles and found some neat things. One of the neat things I found was that one of my G or H lines, I forget which one it is, but its plugged off and rerouted due to the aftermarket evc. Theres also more lines on top of my vacuum lines because of the evc, but its nothing to worry about, I just found it interested discovering the aem work since Im an entry level amateur. The issues I came across however was relatively simple but a pain in the butt. The plastic part that line F connects to, which I believe is the egr solenoid valve, broke. I went to glue it back together with my dads help and dropped it. So now I have the whole bracket which all valves and such on the way here from Lithiania, and hopefully any parts the break I can use to replace that as well.
@@connorarndt1726 OH NO! I am glad you were able to find some replacement parts for it (they are harder and harder to find every day). Having the aftermarket EVC would definitely make things a little more interesting (especially for a novice), I am glad mine had not been upgraded so I had an opportunity to learn on a non-tweaked engine. Good luck.
I am glad it helped out. When I started my Dodge Stealth project two years ago I noticed that there was not much out there on these vacuum lines, so I am glad it was able to help out a fellow enthusiast.
I am not sure. I know there are instructions out there to delete much of them, so it may be possible to eliminate them. I know part of what I have in mine is for the turbos, so if you have a non-turbo I am sure you would have less. I also believe I remember reading that later models eliminated much of this. I would check the 3si forums to be sure.
I believe it could, these cars rely on the vacuum lines for controlling a lot of things. I would suggest checking on the 3si.org forums and find out what you can there. I am still learning how exactly these effect the performance of the car. Good luck.
Thanks for the videos. Just got a 92 stealth TT and it’s got a motor knock. 9ne thing I would say is your music is louder than the video. Meaning I’m watching the video and as soon as you got to time lapse and music it gets to loud and I need to turn the volume down then back up when your talking. Other than that keep it up
Thanks for the comment about the music. I will see what I can do to fix that in future videos. I think I need to listen on my headphones to validate it before I publish. Thanks again for watching.
Sorry, I am still very new to this and don't have any experience with troubleshooting this platform yet. There are a few great forums that you might be able to post a question to such as 3si.org and the3000gtplace.com where they might be able to help. I will say if you are using the factory boot gauge to get this number, it is possible that the gauge is bad, they are not a true boost gauge and not super accurate. Hope this helps and good luck.
Thank you for making this video All my vacuum hoses were taking off and I was able to use your video as a reference !

The little solenoid at the end it's the gas pressure regulator.
Thanks for the info. I was having trouble with this 👍👍👍👍

My stealth runs like absolute poo, gonna follow this and get back to you!
Good luck, and please report back here on how it goes. I am hoping to be able to use this guide in another month or so when I put my engine back in!
are these vacuum lines necesary because my dodge stealth non turbo doesnt even have these lines

what happens when they get put on wrong??? does it cause sluggish/poor acceleration????

Mine is only boosting to 0.4 bar. Do you know what is wrong with it.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!
Hopefully this helped and you were able to get things plumbed back up correctly.
My EGR solenoid is missing on my GTO.When does this do to my engine.
I am sorry I am not sure.
GTO’s don’t have EGR. Just fuel and boost
No Homo 😂 I love you I hard such a hard time with it
Glad it was helpful for you!
