Jo Good is fabulous!! I love her MiddleAgeMinx podcast!! I watch her all the time and she's the one who inspired me to check out Marylebone. On my next visit I'm going to try to connect with her. thank you!!
What a great channel! Was in London & Paris a few weeks ago and didn’t get to Marleybone. Well now I just need to go back😄! Cold here in Rhode Island too
Thank you for this video! You know, I suddenly remembered that when my husband and I were young and childless, we actually stayed in one of the grand flats of one of those Victorian/Edwardian “mansions” in that neighborhood! It was on Cabbell Street, in a tall, ornate, red brick block. I didn’t realize that it was in Marylebone until now. In that distant time of 1992, with no computers at all, I had somehow found a pre-Airbnb situation where a middle-age lady was renting out rooms in her grand flat. My husband and I stayed in her master bedroom (she was obviously sleeping in a tiny room instead, as she let out the best rooms to guests), and there was an older lady with her teenage granddaughter also staying there who had come from Australia to see Wimbledon tennis. That was such a great trip, and we loved staying with other people that we could chat to during breakfast and experience one of those very special flats, instead of staying in a hotel. Of course, we were out all during the day and evening, seeing things in the city. We didn’t focus on shopping, but went to the big tourist draws and some great evening guided walking tours that are such a fun memory. I love London. Have a Happy New Year, Sharri!
Oh Mistydazzle...your share could be turned into a beautiful book! I was mesmerized by the lady...the house...the houseguests. Thank you for sharing and happy new year to you too!! 💚
What a lovely video! Thank you for sharing your time in Marylebone. I love Number 16 as well. Alternate between there and the Beaufort Hotel. May have to branch out to Marylebone for my next trip to London. Both you and Jo influence my trips to London and Paris. Thanks!
Good suggestion Carol and so sorry!! I get so excited with whatever it is that I'm looking at, I forget it's in a video!! I'll try to do better. Happy new year! 💚

What a unique bookstore. I've been to London many times, don't think I've been to this neighborhood. Something for next time.
Put it on your list! It was fascinating.
If you're still in Marylebone, you must reach out to Jo Good of MiddleAgeMinx. I'm sure Jo who lives in Marylebone will answer all your questions ❤❤❤
I think she’s gone down to be with her brother in Sussex over the festive period
