Wonderfully put. I always felt such admiration for this martial art that required one to accept the love of others into your life in order to master it.
This music was almost perfect but they shoul've just added the 5:17 notes to around the 6:20 part
the hiten mitsurgi style will always grant victory to the wielder and all the battojutsu moves have 2 steps, you are never off guard!

That awesome scene, when Yahiko is calling for Kenshin, with tears in his eyes, hoping for him to save everyone, and then... Master comes in along with this theme. One of the best and beautiful moments I've ever seen in anime.

I'm with all of you. Skin crawls.
There was a short silence, and when the piano hit at 2:18, I felt immense goosebumps. The transition was absolutely beautiful. It went from an incredible showdown sort of scene to one of emotional tension.
Finally everything came together at 3:22. The true beauty of this song is that it tells such a powerful story of both physical and emotional struggle, something that every character goes through during this arc. Perhaps most memorable is the passing on of the Amakakeru Ryu no Hirameki.
I really love the appreciation you have towards this song. You describe it very well.

You guys are sort of blending in Toonami with Adult Swim even the OP but that is ok. Yu Yu Hakusho, Cowboy Bebop and one of my favorites Trigun were all on Adult Swim. Kenshin and DBZ were on Toonami. The funny thing is the Toonami guy sounded like spike so it would go from that guy saying good bye to Cowboy Bebop with Spike next. So its like WTF I thought you said bye?

To be honest,this sounds like a man being marched to his death,or to his/her last epic battle to be told in tales in lands and times far away,and into the future.

La música de este anime es cosa seria, los openings y endings son canciones que uno puede poner en cualquier playlist, carecen de ese toque "friky" y "weeb" que tiene la música en el anime.

I grew up with this show, though I couldn't fully appreciate it as an ignorant kid. The OST is simply beautiful, the animation style feels 'natural' if that makes sense, and the plot is masterful. One of the best shows I've ever watched.

+Liberty Prime yeah ther are only a few ' off' animated sequences in rk but not too many. Yu Yu Hakusho has ffaaarrr more animation problems but even in that show some sequences are animated so perfectly there is no reason to reanimate it .

+eartianwerewolf YYH definitely did have some animation issues (Hiei vs Bui) even though the camera-angles and effects were so varied and great most of the time.
