Just a quick reminder: you can use the environment to your advantage. Anything that has a blue triangle above it is something you can grab. If you have at least 2nd gear heat bar you can use a heat action either with an item or by grabbing someone and dragging them to a wall or rail or something like that. Also love the little tutoring moments in this series!
Honestly, Jahara, props to you for finding all the drinks ! I was using a guide on this part of the game to make things fast, so it's actually good to see a player being invested like that ! By the way, if you see a car on the map, it's actually the taxi. And you can take it to move faster ! Also, you're getting better with the gameplay ! Well, button-mashing still works but it's nice to see you fight with style (and strategy) you know 😂 As for the Ara-Q3 sidequest, it's really cute tho. Kiryu is so kind-hearted and so rightous it's kinda hard to believe he's a Yakuza ar first. He may be though but when he cares, he cares deeply. Thank you for the video today ! I gotta say, I've gotten to know the Yakuza series inside and out over the years, including completing every substory in all the games and getting all the achievements in Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami. Watching someone play who speaks Japanese and can provide me even more details about the Yakuza world is really interesting and I'm happy to gain even more knowledge about the series from an angle that was once inaccessible to me.
you’re getting a lot better at the combat 💪 all of the styles are very different - in brawler, doing finishers (heavy attacks) after each hit have different purposes, with the first one knocking down and dealing a little damage, the second one (the gut punch) stunning for a sec before knocking down, the third hitting multiple and dealing a good amount of damage, and the last one (after the kick) sending enemies away
It seems like in Yakuza 0 you don’t run into side quests, they run into you instead 🤣🤣 I loved the one with Akio (the « stealing from the thief » gag was funny to me 😂), it ended up being so wholesome 😊 And you’re getting closer to Miho, that’s exciting 😁 Also can I mention how impressed I am with you live translating the non-subtitled voice lines?? Even knowing your background with the Japanese language I think it’s very cool plus it helps giving some context so we are even more immersed into the game 😌 (btw I can’t wait for the next part, I wonder what information Kiryu will get out of the homeless men 🤔)
Also the convenience store have a magazine rack with actual magazine from the time period can look at and dang that quest line actually made me tear up hope ya had fun shopping with Mama

It is a big place (the one I visited VERY big, and I knew what it was thanks to Yakuza games) that can sell the most incredible weird stuff you can imagine. From sex dolls to sexy or weird cosplay outfits to useless things to make your daily life easier... or weirder. And this is all outside the adult area.
Does anyone know what happened to the Yakuza streams? I thought there were supposed to be new videos every other day. It’s been 2 weeks. I really miss them.
(At game NPCs) Do these prolonged conversations need to take place in the middle of a public walkway? It isn’t like I am asking you to support a political party. Just choose a literal side and keep the walkway walkable, please.
