I knew he was a great guy and this was so nice of him to do this for her. You meet so many people and sometimes you forget those people you've met but he made sure to never forget her. My grandpa died suddenly of Leukemia on my birthday back in 2010, and I always wonder the fear that he had being in the hospital those last 3 days before dying. I miss him every day and wish he could’ve seen me get accepted to OU. At least this girl was able to fight back for as long as she did. What Mayfield did for her was amazing.
