Man, this channel appeared randomly in my recommended page and now I'm hooked and ended up rewatching Bakugan. And now I noticed the bgm in this video is the Battle Brawlers battle theme lol
Personally I'm just really happy to have some new color combinations. The same six (seven if you count diamonds) possible color pallets for bakugan were starting to get a bit stale, and I'm glad to have something new to spice up my collection.
3:08 completely off topic, but this ad always kills me. In the bakugan renders, there's a close up of a ventus ultimate dragonoid (In the close up, then when it zooms out it's in the left-center screen), an aquos silent naga (bottom right), a ventus single headed hydranoid (just above Naga), and an aquos alpha hydranoid with the proper design (Right behind Ventus Hydranoid). This ad was for Battle Brawlers, and the end of that wave was cancelled for New Vestroia. Now, we did see Alpha Hydranoid in New Vestroia with a design change, and we got an single translucent normal Hydranoid. But omg, the renders for these Bakugan are so good and I'm mad that they didn't release as they're shown.
I like both evos and fusions conceptually, I like how evos have a greater risk system to them meaning they provide a greater reward. I also like how playing them can be ramped into with divine intervention, and superfuel, furthermore evos have had more interesting play mechanic such as cost reductions based on keywords and game actions or free to play when certain conditions are met, while this isn’t exclusive to evos we’ve yet to see them applied to fusions. I think fusions lacking ramp and with their best cores being essentially useless before fusing are best as being these supplemental midgame bakugan costing 3 or less until perhaps we get a deck that can run around the concept of fusing. So I don’t really want one to outcompete the other. I think the bigger issue is both are being outcompeted in this meta filled with Jims, it isn’t worth that much to run a 4 cost evo to get you to 2000 when it can only be used on one bakugan if you can play a gear on any of Jims for 2 cost to get the same results. Really there is an issue that the vanilla base forms are too close to evos and fusions.
Very good points! I think the difficulty with Evos is how much they complicate distribution and booster packs, but maybe that's the smaller factor compared to what's fun about them.
JettKuso I think that that is less of an issue now that the Garies recognize that age of evos was not an effective set meaning we won’t be left with unhealthy amounts of evos and won’t have so many of the evos be bland or understatted
I prefer fusions over evos even if some of them are horrible. But I plan on using Hydrous x Batrix (Darkus x Aquos) and Pegatrix x Gillator (Aquos x Ventus) for some decks
Ok, so Fusions are essentially built in Evos. It's kind of what I was expecting, though I'm glad the lower stats don't completely overwrite Evos from the game. Having Evos be stronger but require you to grab a card from your deck, and Fusions be weaker but be available at any time is a nice idea. Still haven't seen any Fusions I'm particularly interested in (I play mono-Aquos mono-Fist), but that doesn't mean I won't see something in the future.
and you can't spell FUNK withouttttt FUN. thanks bro for the fun knowledge of bakugan. at the moment i just want the toy. maybe someday play the card if i have time
I prefer fusions overall because 🐉+🐉= better dragon and🐉+🦖= dinosaur Dragon and they are more powerful sometimes, and look cooler And fusions are like the best Bakugan type ever when they’re strong😎😎😎😎😎👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I've noticed that most fusions also are effect-less Bakugan, so evos have another advantage really, if the cards for evos were more accessible (such as 3 coming in the same pack as a Bakugan), then I'd love to have the cost/benefit of evos vs fusions vs gear in the game. Evos are powerful, but specific and RNG to access. Bakugear are less powerful but can be applied to any Bakugan for utility. Bakufusion is easy, but lower stats compared to equivalent energy counterparts That kind of cost benefit analysis makes choosing fun, so I'd be here for it.
You forgot to mention the only ONLY fusion card that is good for right now is pyrus dragonoid x haos tretorous. which is a three cost and goes to 1200 b power. that may not sound like much but with all the positives on what you said about the cores and the convenience of the fusion card. the cores they have is green fist (which is the weakest core) BUT they have a magic shield and if it gets on a fusion magic shield its max can get to 2000 b power
According to bakugan.wiki couple Fusion Bakugan's were based on the dual attibutes in the original both the anime & the toys for example: Angelo Preyas is Aquos/Haos in the original while the reboot would be Hydorous/Trhyno
the background music at the end is the subterra battlefield theme from the bakugan battle brawlers game, I think it's the first bakugan video game? but damn did it bring back memories

Or would it always be +400?
Here in Germany our stores more and more fill stock with Bakugan but unfortunately still lacking Booster Packs.. so the only semi reliable source is Amazon ..price and stock quantity varies..any better options guys? And supporting you on Patreon is my way of thanking you for getting me into Bakugan as long time TCG fan (Pokenon,Yugioh,Vanguard) and your positivity and dedication towards the game as well as your contribution to keeping alive our healthy community.
The batch sounds like the same idea behind the "stack"in magic the gathering. In mtg, when you play a card and someone responds with a card of their own, they get put in the stack and depending in the effects certain cards won't have any effect and the stack resolves from the LAST card played back to the FIRST card played
Why not just play an Evo card like a fusion card but in stages? Like if you have a line of 3 evo cards each with a higher damage and B power, but with a relatively low energy cost per use, then just level up in stages or all at once by spending the energy to bypass an Evo level. This might not be the exact stage level but this is an example: Hyper - 3 (3 to evolve from start) Titan - 4 (7 to evolve from start) Infinity - 4 (11 to evolve from start) Maximus - 5 (16 to evolve from start) You get the idea. It's like Super OP fusion Bakugan and using this playstyle prevents you from needing more than 1 card to use, and milling out your needed cards, but the only downside is depending on which Evo you have, you'll have to know what the other evo costs are in order to properly cap your cards cost in order to evolve or 'fuse'. Or just somehow own all the other evo cards necessary by pulling random cards. But the entire Evo set isn't needed, you just need to do a bit of research.
So first we made new battle gear and now we’re going back to the idea of fusing bakugan like with mutations and unites. Oh boy now I wonder how long it’ll take before we have the new age Mechtogan
I still remember that comical that you where in. And that's the reason that i play. I don't have much i only have a pyrus dragonoid ultra, alurus i think i forgot its a yellow vicerox ultra, and a haos fanazor. Its not much but i think there pretty good.
Hey Jett? Can you make another rolling technique video with more rolls? I have an idea for the roll called scissor shot. You place your Bakugan, place your fingers on both sides, pointing away from the Bakucores, then do a little snip with your hand scissors to launch the Bakugan upwards and onto the Bakucore!
I’ve been thinking of an idea for an alternate game mode for this form of bakugan. It’s a purely casual mode just to let you know. It’s similar to war hammerer and d&d. Basically each player chooses a bakugan to be there general. Each general has an effect that’s either passive or can be used once per turn much like the deck master concept in yugioh. You can olny use normal bakugan for this role how ever no fusion or geogan. Your goal is to defeat the opposing general to win each player starts with ten normal bakugan, three fusion bakugan, three geogan and five bakugear. If you can you can substitute any missing peaces with magnets. It plays kinda like chess. Each player takes turns moving up to three bakugan per turn. After choosing a general both players scatter ten cores each across the field. Battle cores aren’t used in fights and instead act as items you can get each with different effects like for example some give your bakugan a chance to flee from a battle if your up against a stronger foe, others grant you an automatic g-power boost the next time said bakugan ends up in a battle. Each core can only be used once and once you use it there gone forever until the next game and you can only have one core equipped at a time. At the start of each players turn They can choose to either draw a card or not then move there bakugan to advance to there opponents general. The general bakugan has to remain stationary. bakugan can be move two spaces each. Each space being the length of two bakucores. You can also add objects around your chosen battle field to add a bit of dynamic. For example a rock could act as a huge mountain or boulder blocking your path or some blocks could act as ancient ruins or a town to navigate through or something to hide from opposing bakugan. Since normally any opposing bakugan that are the length of two bakucores away from each other have to fight unless there’s something in the way like a building or other object. For that if your bakugan can fly then you can fly over it or if you think your strong use an abilty card to blast your way through it but it costs energy which you can’t refill until after a battle so it creates a dynamic. Do you want to destroy and obstacle at the cost of some energy or save it for a potentially tough battle later down the road. Any time you wish to perform an action like this for example you roll a dice if the number is the same as the first number in the bakugan’s g-power. For example a bakugan with 400 g-power you have to roll a four or higher. Anything above 600 you just roll a six or higher. When two bakugan clash it plays pretty much like you’d expect this also applies when you reach the general and battle them but with one major difference which is if you have multiple bakugan facing an opposing bakugan then you add both there g-powers together and in other words you can gang up on an opposing bakugan but keep in mind it works both ways and if both sides have multiple bakugan facing each other at once then both sides add up the total g power of there bakugan’s bakugears work the exact same way as normal but can only be used once each per battle. And that’s it. So let me know what you think.
Idea: Limit Evo's and fusions to one and allow Evo's to work like Fusions during battle. IE: If you have a Dragonoid/Tretorous Pyrus-Darkus, but a diamond version as well, you get to choose to either Fuse them or Evolve them into their diamond form. But using their diamond form would cost the fusion cost and the Evo cost to balance their higher B-power. On the same hand, Evo cards would work like Fusion cards. Dragonoid > Diamond Dragonoid Dragonoid > Hyper Dragonoid Nillious > Maximus Nillious, so on and so forth. This means no milling the Evo card in your decks and having the ability be a guarantee if you can afford it. So now your strategy is a lot less RNG based. And the reason I say fusion Evo's would cost more, is because their base fusions might already be strong, so making them a diamond variant just jacks that power up 10-fold with the proper setup. But with the fusions, again, you could either Fuse into their fused form, or fuse and then jump straight into their Diamond Evo. You can't physically play with the fusion form for a turn or two and THEN evo, it has to be a back to back effect in order to be tournament legal. This was just my two cents on how you could 1: balance Fusion Evo's. And 2: Make normal Evo's less of a burden on your strategy while still being a viable source of gameplay. Plus, knowing that your opponent has a non-fusion Bakugan is pretty much a dead giveaway that they either have a strategy or an uber-powerful Evo card up their sleeves to make that lightweight into a heavy hitter.
Man I've been meaning to ask you: where did you find the song at 0:00? I've heard it in your videos from all the way back to almost a decade ago, so I'm mainly curious more than anything.
My favorite bakugan will always be the elephants, these things also remind me of those things from the original bakugan aka battle brawlers specifically the anime. When vestroya had the worlds pushed together creating dual attribute bakugan
I made a orange shield and green fist turbo with the fusions of pegatrix x gillator aurelus and haos in my weird empower deck. It's not viable but it's just fun.
Basically the batch works just like the stack idea in mtg where each card forms a chain and resolves from the top down. Using mtg as an example again let’s say I play duress but my opponent activates negate. That forms a chain then I activate my own negate and so since I have priority my negate cancels out there own negate thus letting my duress resolve.
hey jettkuso question does a fusion have both of the faction and if it lands on a bakucore that increase one of the fusion faction dose it gain that power and the same thing for if it lands on one that gives both faction power im still new to this game
for me, an undertale fan, fusions give me the chills! it reminds me of true lab on pacafist route, that’s why i do every other route asides from that. i have aquos/areules howlkor x ramparian downgrade :(
Am I misunderstanding something, cause according to the rule book I got with my fusion stater set "If you ever manage to roll onto a BakuCore with an F symbol anywhere on it, you get to turn that Fusion Chatacter over to its F side!" I know the rulebook doesn't go in depth a lot so is there a diferent set of Tournament rules or something? I see it under "How fusion works in the toy battling game" so is that different from the Card battling game cause I kinda assumed they were on and the same.
Yeah there are three versions of the Bakugan game right now. The Toy Battle game (Gate Card version), the toy battling game (bakucore version), and the Bakugan PRO TCG.

Idea:
Limit Evo's and fusions to one and allow Evo's to work like Fusions during battle.
Dragonoid > Diamond Dragonoid
Dragonoid > Hyper Dragonoid
Nillious > Maximus Nillious, so on and so forth.

@@JettKuso really cool thanks jettkuso
Man I've been meaning to ask you: where did you find the song at 0:00? I've heard it in your videos from all the way back to almost a decade ago, so I'm mainly curious more than anything.
If you search "Bakugan soundtrack" on youtube, you can find most of these songs.
i love your video hope one day ill be like u
11:11 whats this music?
Oh wow, they released fusion bakugan waaaaaaay before they released armored elite, unless I’m getting release dates wrong.
Can’t wait!!!
So i have a pegatrix x aurelus gillator but i don’t have any haos bakugan on my team can i still use any haos cards?
My favorite bakugan will always be the elephants, these things also remind me of those things from the original bakugan aka battle brawlers specifically the anime. When vestroya had the worlds pushed together creating dual attribute bakugan
What i want to know is how you got the soundtrack from the original show.
Magic player here. The batch sounds like the stack in Magic!
I made a orange shield and green fist turbo with the fusions of pegatrix x gillator aurelus and haos in my weird empower deck. It's not viable but it's just fun.
Felt like a Bill Nye episode
@Vastspeed hey
At first i loved pokemon but when my friend showed my bakugan well i love them now
I prefer fusion since I really only need the one, but as far as energy economy goes. Might have a fair chance playing some Ventus for ramp
Pink bakugan need there own faction call it Palio’s or friendrus who’s with me o or Maybe emotionalism
Nice vid fusion4life
3:30 now, i don't need to do that fangzor + bakucore + fangzor anymore, today is a happy day!
someone remembers when bakugans were easy

I do like why is itmore hard to do
Hey Jett!
How you got those red (back) cards?
Most definitely are card sleeves. I have my character cards in black sleeves and the ability cards in clear ones.
Card sleeves!
That looks awesome
Now I must know, What is the name of the song you used for the Funky Segment?
Me:Wait dragamonz is a test for fusion bakugan
Jett:always has been
How did you get the OST of the original Bakugan? You mind sharing it?
I WISH I had the full OST. I found everything on RUclips.
1:43 the bund system aged well since that's the whole gimmick of G3
So thats why my howler had wings!
I have a fuision and it is trhyno what two bakugan is mixed to make trhyno???????
To play a fusion bakugan in battle you have to have the 2 bakugan that fused or just before its fused it just has the stats the front card has?
I really wish Fusions were more competitively viable..
I like your video jet
hey jettkuso question does a fusion have both of the faction and if it lands on a bakucore that increase one of the fusion faction dose it gain that power and the same thing for if it lands on one that gives both faction power im still new to this game
I thought about getting a fusion Bakugan for Christmas but after I watched this video, should I get 1 still?
Hey hold up I saw a fusion baku gear card the the ventus and aquos is a Darkus... please tell me there a fusion haos card
Jett:fusion bakugan do share one body but what they don’t share is one faction.
Nillious x Eenoch: ._.
for me, an undertale fan, fusions give me the chills! it reminds me of true lab on pacafist route, that’s why i do every other route asides from that. i have aquos/areules howlkor x ramparian downgrade :(
that first bakugan he rolled out, what is it and where can I get one?
Plan on getting the sabra x pyravian ultra baku-gear set after my CoV pre order
Am I misunderstanding something, cause according to the rule book I got with my fusion stater set "If you ever manage to roll onto a BakuCore with an F symbol anywhere on it, you get to turn that Fusion Chatacter over to its F side!" I know the rulebook doesn't go in depth a lot so is there a diferent set of Tournament rules or something? I see it under "How fusion works in the toy battling game" so is that different from the Card battling game cause I kinda assumed they were on and the same.
Indeed it is for the toy battles.
Yeah there are three versions of the Bakugan game right now. The Toy Battle game (Gate Card version), the toy battling game (bakucore version), and the Bakugan PRO TCG.
@@JettKuso Ah, that explains a lot thanks for the clarification.
Kuso i have a question a should i use FUSION bakugan to play TCG?
0:30 soundtrack name?
Speaking of fusions. SV Diamond fusions and FF fusions are in the Bakulog.
