Nice choice on the drone footage music.. Really sets the mood of sitting in a combine all day just enjoying the views out the window 👍🏽.. That part of Montana is truly some of gods best work, I fly out there in my Cessna 185 STOL plane from my farm in western Oregon just to watch the harvesting, my sister’s family lives outside of Havre Montana on property I can land my plane. My father was a pilot and he was a member of what was The international Flying Farmers.. I grew up flying to other Farmer members farms all across the U.S. & we often hosted Fly Ins at our farm’s airfield and had farmers from all corners of the U.S. and many from Canada visit.. In the late 80s my father and I flew all across Central and South America with a group of 23 aircraft visiting farms of all types over a month long experience, my father later went to Australia for 6 weeks to do the same using rented aircraft. Unfortunately due to the high cost associated with owning and flying aircraft that organization has mostly gone by the wayside however there are still a small few whom continue to host fly ins , most notably the Kansas chapter.
@@FastAgMontana Loving having a PPL, just wish it was more affordable. A 182 is a great choice for you too, but definitely try to keep it at the homestead if at all possible (on a grass strip).

That is an awesome story. I am planning on getting my PPL soon. Maybe even a 182!
