I was there on tour, and as you walked through, and explored your mind slowly disconnects from your reality moment, and you actually go back in time, and recreate that moment. It's a feeling horrer deepens inside you. That's the way it was for me. That was in 1974/75. It has never left. Fast forward to 2017 the Oregon museum of science, and industry had the pomppeii exhibit. It was like a reunion for me I was so excited to see what I experienced in pomppeii. The exhibit was more than I expected. The last part you walk through is the poor souls body casts the souls that did not make it. It was a feeling that you can't describe it was so surreal a few people were crying as we left chamber. Got in my truck, and just sat there for a few minutes to grasp reality again. If you ever get the chance to see the pomppeii exhibit I highly recommend it it is a moment in time you will not forget.... 🌋🌄🌅
This video was great. We laughed and laughed. The walnuts mixed in with the pumice, the people who were buried looking like Greek statues, the skeleton with 2 heads. Pompeii was one goofy place.
The fact that this AI Characters facial expression not changing when he talks about this tragedy. Scares me more than any Volcano I’m standing next to.
This is awful, but that poor dog is STILL there, chained. I went to Europe in 2016, and Pompeii was one of our stops. Ironically, on a clear beautiful day just like this. Seeing that dog crushed me.
This is fascinating to see. I’ve always been both intrigued by Pompeii and horrified. Those poor people. They didn’t have any idea the nightmare about to descend upon them. Could it still happen today?
The people did know about volcanoes they just didn't realize that Vesuvius was an active volcano, but ancient Romans did know of volcanoes and volcanoes that erupted.
I agree with you but Campi Flegrei is gonna have its hold my beer moment in comparison to what Vesuvius did in 79ad. Now if both Campi Flegrei and Vesuvius both blow at the same time that would be a sight to behold a horrific sight yes but as was stated in the video the Romans had an excuse they didn't know what a volcano was 1947 years later we have absolutely no excuse for any reasons of we didn't know or it came out of nowhere. It's a very sad but brutally honest truth that if either Campi Flegrei or Vesuvius blow Naples is going to have a substantially lower population if Campi Flegrei and Vesuvius both blow well Naples has no chance period cause the volcanos have been giving warnings for over 75yrs with Campi Flegrei and the scientists and politicians choose to ignore them.
Pliny wasn't completely clueless...he had a limited idea what was happening, but he didnt know or understand the why of it. And he certainly couldn't comprehend the scale of eruption he was investigating. That more than anything is why he didnt do more to get away.
Covus "Who are you to do this to me? Iam Senator Quintas Attius Corvus!" Milo "And what is that worth, Senator Quintas Attius Corvus? You killed my family, you slaughtered my people, and make no mistake, my gods are coming for you."
90% of the people of Pompeii escaped?! Never heard this ever! That’s fantastic!! Very interesting and an excellent documentary.🌋 Cave Canem - Beware of Dog is at least 2,000 years old -incredible :) 🐶🐕🌷🌱
So Pompeii was a cesspool for the uber rich of Rome. Self-indulgence, greed, perversions and slavery... sexual slavery. That uses children for the same reason. I'm happy they got theirs.. as tragic as it was for the folks who didn't deserve that karma. But Pompeii was a bad place with terrible people running it. Why ya'll want to dig it all back up shows exactly how badly modern folks are doing. Looking backwards all the time meaning there's no future. Resurrecting a past that never existed... pretending to bask in the glory of Empire, lol. But it's just pathetic.. it's an existential psychological game that precipitates the end of this species' life. .
The unnecessary jump cuts when the narrator is onscreen talking are really jarring and make the video hard to watch. I gave up before the end due to how off-putting it is. Pity as the visuals and info are pretty good for the most part. I would get rid of the onscreen narrator guy and just use voiceover instead.
Is there a way to use the photo graphics but have the channel Owner read the whole thing.? I really dislike Chat GPT, I still enjoyed this for the most part though! THANKS! 🌋
The service is terrible, the wine tastes like vinegar, the place stinks! I'll be back tomorrow! 🍺😂 From Tili
This is what AI should be used for. It's amazing seeing what it was like to live in times like these.
Thanks

Wow! thank you!

At first, I said to myself "Why are walnuts falling from the sky with the pumice?" Then, I realized you put them there as a comparison for size. 😂👍
Hehehe thanks for watching.
My HEART BLEEDS FOR THAT POOR DOG,AND THE OTHER POOR ANIMALS WHO DIED💔😭🙏
Pay attention to the Islamic groups beating and trying to BAN DOGS!. Dogs over Islam. No question.
…..but not for the PEOPLE? Okay…those are your priorities.
@richparsons4205YESS IT IS.
@richparsons4205people are SOO CLEVER TO SAVE THEM SELF,AND DONT GIVE A SH-T ABOUT THEIR ANIMALS😭💔

I live in Oregon and close to Washington and they had Mt saint Helens do a pyloric bast 1980
😮😮😮😮
Those commenting that were there should give their version so we know the facts.
0:16 Second sword mysteriously appears
Anyone connected with their environment recognized the threat and got out. Natural people like me
This is fascinating to see. I’ve always been both intrigued by Pompeii and horrified. Those poor people. They didn’t have any idea the nightmare about to descend upon them. Could it still happen today?
Com certeza! Qualquer Vulcão ou mesmo o Vesúvio é possível acontecer!
The people did know about volcanoes they just didn't realize that Vesuvius was an active volcano, but ancient Romans did know of volcanoes and volcanoes that erupted.
Thanks for the info. I thought they thought of volcanos as mountains.
Yes! The earth trying to kill you!!! Like flicken off fleas!!! Good for earth!
Great video. Very immersive and educational. You've gained another follower, sir. Bravo! 👏🏾
Thank you!
Okay, if THIS is what A.I. is going to be used for, I can get behind it! Well done!
Thanks!
Thanks For Sharing This Topic !!!! I Appreciate It Alot !!!!! 👈👈👈👈👈👈👈
Thank you!
It's not far from going off again; along with Campi Flegrei. Etna is the really bad one though...it's got a 55 sq. mile magma chamber.

It happened in October. Ask an archeologist.

THANK YOU for this informative vid; ALL this, with you😢r “neat” accent! 😉👏🏻‼️
Interesting
I couldn't stop laughing when he said "This is not weather. This is the planet trying to kill you." 😂
Hello new Subscribers How are you?
Thank you
Hi from Ohio
@earthquake3.9 Thanks for watching
Covus "Who are you to do this to me? Iam Senator Quintas Attius Corvus!"
Milo "And what is that worth, Senator Quintas Attius Corvus? You killed my family, you slaughtered my people, and make no mistake, my gods are coming for you."
They say it’s going to happen again…at any time…I know. I wouldn’t want to live there or in California, or near any possible fault line or volcano.
Yes that is possible!
😮 thank you for the channels
😍😍😍
So lovely to upload a video where you keep cutting out content
I visited Pompeii in 1993 and I was impressed .
Nice Thank you!
This is the worst edit job I've ever seen.
Ai
could be better withOUT the AI host.
90% of the people of Pompeii escaped?! Never heard this ever! That’s fantastic!!
Very interesting and an excellent documentary.🌋
Cave Canem - Beware of Dog is at least 2,000 years old -incredible :) 🐶🐕🌷🌱
I don't think 90% of people escaped Pompeii TBH 🙏🏻💔
Dog spelled backwards is GOD. 😊

Kinda like 'digging up' Epstein's Island, right?
Wanker
Ai slops suck ass
Ai slop
God the AI in this is awful. Could have been a good video if some actual care put into this.
The constant accent changes on this AI guy is very distracting.
Interesting video. TERRIBLE editing.
Thanks!

Why did you have to include a dog?
Terrible AI video. Like what accent is that AI host supposed to have???
The accent changes from British to American in one sentence.
Very annoying and I just heard him say Pompeii as “pom pee”.
@davidmunson1154With an occasional Eastern European as well. And very different voices.
Really crappy editing.
Another crappy misrepresentation!
I hate AI bullshit!🤮
Sure,but it's not like we've got tape.
@amystaggs5303they could at least have that fake AI host have the same accent throughout.
