Years ago, I stumbled across this video, knowing nothing about post-rock, ambient, anything. It was one of the most beautiful things I'd ever heard. Four years later, GIAA are my favourite band, I love post-rock and ambient music. And Infinite Horizons is still one of the greatest things I've ever heard.

GiA made music is one of those, which I call intelectual music. If music can make you start thinking about deepest philosophical questions of fundamentals of Universe, that's a music worth listening to. I don't know why, but this music makes absolute harmony between emotions and cold mind. Science and art mergged together in something spectacular and breathtaking

When I listen to this song, I think of a small boat in the vast ocean, completely alone and just floating on the waves. The sun beating down on it and infinite horizons in front of it ... And then whales singing in the background. Perfect. I love how instrumental music like this makes you use your imagination.

The video reminds me of my childhood and skipping rocks across a lake, each ripple representing a person in my life that should be touched by this song the way i have. When i heard this, i died and was born again, twice. I picture the sun peeking its head above the horizon, just to see if humanity has matured enough to see it undresed
