M&S is nice but is on the higher end. Tesco, sainsbury’s, Asda, Aldi and Lidl are good options if you want a cheaper shop and less plastic. Also, avoid the express shops as they are more expensive than the bigger supermarkets
Bigger supermarkets (Tesco/sainsburys etc) have more options for no plastic - I go to a big sainsburys and basically always get as minimal plastic as possible. Might not be as easy to find a big supermarket though depending on where you are living, they’re generally more accessible in zone 2 outwards! Marks and spencer is nice for food, but it’s definitely considered a more higher end grocery store option
Here all the vegetables are wrapped in plastic most of the time :( The only alternative I found is going to your local farmer's market. If you live in the East, there's some zero waste shops, but these are quite rare in West London at the moment.
If a significant number of individuals follow the principles you're advocating, just envision the potential for numerous individuals becoming millionaires, either presently or in the future. I've been exploring comparable opportunities myself. As Warren Buffett has pointed out, he has observed this phenomenon occur frequently. My husband and I have never earned more than others in the middle class, yet with a $250,000 stock portfolio, we plan to retire at age 58. Surprisingly, we have never sold a single share of stock.
It's not solely about the amount you save; it's about how effectively you manage your finances. Whether you generate income through work or investments, it all comes down to balancing income and expenses. Therefore, considering financial advisors to develop a suitable strategy for your specific circumstances might be worthwhile.
I currently hold shares in Tattooed Chefs and Kairos Minerals, and I plan to acquire some Corsair shares as well. While I'm open to holding these investments for several years, I'm also interested in exploring short-term opportunities that could potentially turn an initial $50,000 investment into $200,000.
Undoubtedly, financial advisors possess insights and strategies not readily available to the general public. I personally experienced a profit of £460,000 in 2022 under the guidance of my advisor. Am I planning to sell? Absolutely not. I intend to observe how the situation unfolds.
I've collaborated with various financial advisors, but ultimately, I selected Jenny Pamogas Canaya* because she appears to possess a comprehensive understanding of the financial markets. I've generated more profits with her guidance than I ever did when I relied on information from online sources like RUclips.
Oh, and I generally don't take online advice seriously, but out of curiosity, I decided to research Jenny , and I must admit that I'm impressed by her credentials. I've already sent her an email and am eagerly awaiting her response.
3:21, are you at Kossoffs in Kentish Town? I could be totally wrong but I think I recognise their countertops. If you are (or even if you're not) the pain au chocolats there are some of the best I've had! Welcome to London x
m and S are definately my favourite place to shop for food, but when lived in England, it was mainly Tesco, morrison or Sainsbury; Glad you are enjoying living in london so much x
your london apartment gives off very clean girl aesthetic vibes lmao @ you and julian roasting each other. that food market looks delicious AND THOSE PANCAKES
with all due respect - if you discount Harrods excellent foodhall ( which is awesome for that special treat - Christmas - that sort of thing ) M&S is a really epensive food option - Sainsbury's is cheaper but good - I use them. The cheapest is Aldi - but Sainsburys are currently matching their basics to Aldi prices. I get "plastic" bags made of straw from Amazon. The Ecover range is an easy to get eco friendly house clean products. Maybe Lush for more sustainable body stuff - the do dry shampoo + reuseable tins ( which doesn't suit me but I did try it to reduce plastic ) - love their shower stuff - the whole bit. For an "English" perfume there is Penhaligons - it is expensive because the Royals use it - Bluebell was allegedly Princess Di's perfume. What they do do is a couple of different little tin boxes called a scent library with 10 different large size samples of popupar scents - either mens and ladies or just ladies scents to try from. Hope this helps
if you like A&F clothes , maybe Jack Wills might be up your street . All these places have websites so you can have a look beforehand to see if it suits anyhow.
it’s super easy, I just cook regular oatmeal with water and then add a scoop of Nutella at the end and mix it up! I tried it one day because I had nothing else to sweeten the oatmeal and I ended up really liking it! 🤍
