Chef Ramsay yelling is one thing, but it hits so much harder when he just stops and speaks calm and clear like he did to Amy. @@shadenox8164 They probably make them way beforehand and freeze them, this can cause much of the liquid of the gravy to soak into the crust, leaving the crust soggy, and the gravy non existent looking. Absolute shitloads of restaurants do this, with many kinds of foods, and it almost always ends up making the food far worse than it should be. Comes down to basic capitalism though, most of these places run on the absolute bare minimum skeleton crews, and only have half the people required to make every single dish on demand for the day, rather than making and pre freezing stuff on slow days or closed days.
@@rdizzy1 Thing is I've eaten frozen meat pies that are mass produced and you can still see some sign of the gravy even though it isn't as thick as a fresh pie's. I don't think freezing alone explains this. If there was gravy it must not have been much.

There wasn't even any gravy in the thing. An "Australian meat pie" does not exist without gravy.
