What a lovely vlog. I love the synchronicity of life. I have little things happen to me everyday that affirm that the universe is aware of me. I have teenage children and they have started to come to me and tell me about weird synchronicity's that they have started to notice too ocurring in their lives . I find it a great comfort. Gave up watching TV about a year ago. Cancelled the TV licence, and haven't missed it one bit. It's used now to watch what we choose to watch, rather than what was being foisted upon us and watching out of habit. Stay safe and well.

For me there is no ideal world. As I explain in some vlogs it's not all castles and roses. You will see me in videos dragging supplies along the canal towpath even in freezing conditions. Being fit and healthy for this life? Not at all I have osteoarthritis and onset of osteoporosis and a hip replacement that been with me for 16 years. I also have other health issues. I may not show on the vlogs. I get on with it. My health does not stop me enjoying this way of life. I will cover this on a future vlog. 🙏 Thankyou for connecting 🙏

Beautiful scenery, amazing camera work. Loved the vlog. These sunny days are so good for the soul. Made sure I watched this one in the afternoon as I find your vlogs so soothing and relaxing in the evening, I fall to sleep. If I have a night when I can’t sleep I always put your meditation vlog on, works every time. Take care x
Great post, such beautiful scenery. My favorite part was you explaining that TV pushes fear, I wish more people understood the content shown on TV is not harmless by any means, I shake my head in disbelief to see so many out in the sunshine walking around while wearing a "mask", as if fresh air is going to kill them. What crazy times we're living through. Please keep up the great work.
Your vlogs are a beautiful and thoughtful way to wake up on a Saturday morning in Brisbane Australia. Thank you for sharing your life and insights as I eat my muesli and drink my tea.
What a lovely story and outcome ☺️ (It seems contradictory, but during Lock-down, we’ve been watching far less TV than before, as we’ve found ourselves more things to do!)
We are in the same frame of mind, better to give than receive,we were walking in to Lichfield town centre,I spotted a chap sitting on the ground,by a shop ,I went up to him ask if would like a coffee he said yes please, went into Gregs bakery, and got him a steak bake as well,he was very greatfull,as I always think that poor chap could be me ,as you just don’t know what’s around the corner, and you are a very kind man Dave ,keep safe.👍
You're not a lone, I haven't watched tv for 9 glorious years and have no intention of doing so again either, great that it was donated to a family who will use and enjoy it.
It's funny that when I watch the television, I watch old movies or reruns of shows long gone. The garbage they are feeding those who watch and listen to it is poisoning the mind. I don't want to live in that world. You've got the best of it all in the here and now. I believe you manifested you encounter with the woman on the path, and possibly the mother and her children manifested that television. Either way, it's a wonderful outcome. Blessings!
I don't watch much TV either. I watch a lot of you tube on my laptop. Glad your mum is feeling better. Thank you for putting link in description for victim support, as a survivor of domestic violence I really appreciate it.
My husband and I are finding that we are watching less and less TV (we hardly ever watch the news on TV) - but we are enjoying vlogs and travel shows (meeting people from all over the world). Before COVID, we loved going to the UK (we live in the US - Maryland) - each trip was to explore the countryside in different parts of the UK - lot of walking/hiking - we both love being in nature.
A lovely sincere offer of generosity! We are not taking a tv onto our new boat, the countryside around us is our live programme to watch day or night! I am always giving or making things to give away, am now making rugs on a peg loom to hand over to family and friends... if we ever pass you on the canals you can choose a rug!! Meeting out boat for the first time on April 12th!!! Xx
@@inspiredbynature3 Happy to hear 93, my dear old mother died when she was 92 I was her carer for thirty years , I was 52 when she passed away that was twenty years ago , such is life my friend 👍❤️

Grate to hear that your mum's back home and doing okay Dave. I also agree with you on the matter of TV . I find being out in the garden and getting out into the countryside exploring the surroundings and the nature around me fare more interesting than the rubbish on the TV, I think the last time I watched a TV program was 12 years ago. Stunning footage of the canal with the reflections of the light on the ripples under the bridge, lovely calming footage. Great that someone will benefit from your generosity
Glad all is well with your mother. Totally agree with your take on the television, I tend to watch once in a blue moon (actually less often than a real blue moon). Everything happens for a reason, meetings, friendships and situations etc. Its often not until later we find out what those reasons are (outtakes included😊) 🙏
My flat screen TV packed up 2 weeks ago. I haven't used it in over a year and when I did use it I was only streaming RUclips videos to it or movies from Google Play. I can't say I really miss it and I certainly have no interest in watching mainstream TV on it. I think a lot of us on the cut are of like mind.
Beautiful, calming, stunning and reflective. A joy to behold...Nature at its best. It regenerates, the inner soul. We ourselves stopped watching television and we no longer buy papers. Enjoy and live each day and enjoy the moment...’Life is, but a fleeting moment in time’ Love and best wishes to your mother, for a speedy recovery. 🙏

I am watching this Vlog on my Television. Its 4K resolution allows me to see you as clearly as if you were in my living room with me. I don't watch the news on TV or anything else I find depressing. I don't have cable (by choice) and my indoor antenna only gives me a few stations including a public broadcast station. I Only watch a few hours a week of TV but love watching RUclips as I get that superior image that's far better than my computer or other devices.
I haven't owned a TV since 2014. I decided there were too many people in my life who were letting their lives pass them by while they watched the idiot box. I spend much more time outside now. I'm doing things, and going places, not watching other people do things and go places.
God Bless you Dave...that was a great gift you gave...but it was also very wise...i have not watched tv for 6 years...i find it to be mindless and quite poisonous...we dont need it if you can get into nature or even just spend more time in your garden...but I am sure you will find more constructive things to achieve...great video.xx

Great video Dave as always, always enjoy the tranquility of your vlogs. May I ask, as a single cruiser, how often do you have to refuel, top up your water, empty toilets etc? It’s a lifestyle I would love!
Usually top up water tank between two to three weeks. Fuel I get 25 litres every three to four weeks. I'm on cassette toilet which is emptied every two weeks on average. Or before depending on how hungry I am ☺ 🙏 thanks for connecting 🙏
