When I play X2, Wheel Gator is the first to go. Simply because you need his weapon to get the Dash upgrade in Overdrive Ostrich's stage. Then I come back to Wheel Gator's stage for the X-Buster upgrade. Then I hit up Morph Moth for the Body upgrade. 3 easiest bosses in the game for me. Crystal Snail is probably my most hated, even though he's easy as well. The rest I can defeat with X-Buster only quite easily.

Late asf but my order is wire sponge because you don't need upgrades for the collectibles and the fight is a joke, gator next because now you can get the X buster upgrade and take wheel gator down with the strike chain, ostrich next, then move down the list by weakness

Wheel Gator is an awesome maverick, but my only complaint about him is that his weapon isn't very fun to use imo. I think if the wheel acted more like a bouncing weapon that could ricochet off walls and cut through multiple enemies while still dealing high damage it would have been a lot more fun, and practical to use. All the same though, another great track from Breis.
