  • My Gretsch 5410T was recently resurrected with some awesome new mods, including V-style Bigsby and Hipshot locking tuners.
    Here's just a little take on how it sounds right now!

    The V Bigsby is such an improvement I also found.

    Nice! I have the exact same guitar. I’ve really debated removing the pick guard. It looks pretty slick without it 🎸

      I don't know what is it with this exact guitar but it just screamed "take the pickguard off!" And so I did, haha.
      However, I used to have an orange electromatic and with that the pickguard kinda was part of it all. And same with my current Tennessee Rose, I could not imagine it without it.

    Got a rat rod myself which has undergone a number of mods/upgrades so curious to which locking tuners you fitted

      I would love to hear more about your upgrades! What have you got? The locking tuners I have are something called Hipshots, I ordered them from UK. I like them very much and they are lightweight too.

    What's that song from the riff you're playing?

      Thanks for asking! It's a song called Voodoo Queen from my upcoming album ❤

    Hi! Nice demo! I wanted to ask you, between the 5420 and the 5410, without any update, which one do you think is better? Thank you.

    • @DeLaRockaMusic
      @DeLaRockaMusic  Год назад +1

      That's a tuff one, I think! I'm a huuuge fan of 5420's but they changed a few key things recently, including the neck shape, and after testing it out, I would probably go with 5410 right now! I used to have a 2017 model 5420 and that one was perfect tho!

      Thanks a lot man! I really appreciate the opinion of someone who has the two models and plays psychobilly. My initial idea is the 5410 but as I have seen that the guitarist of nekromantix since he started using it plays more uncomfortable than before... was hesitating about the 5410 model... but i will look with other eyes from now, thanks!

      @@gabrielgirotti6646 Oh, more uncomfortable you say? Can you elaborate a bit? This sounds interesting. Fun fact: Kim Nekroman owns two Rat Rods, one white and one black, and he plays the white one in Horrorpops

      @@DeLaRockaMusic Yes, I got the feeling that in the last live videos he doesn't look comfortable, and he looks back a lot, to his amplifier, that's why I was intrigued, but maybe his discomfort is not with the guitar but with something particular about the sound of the place or something else, or maybe it was just my feeling and I'm wrong jajaja Its usually happens jajaja
