Where I live we get snow for only a few days a year sometime for 7 days. Our city does not invest in a lot of snow plows. We do get freezing rain as well. The town just kind of shuts down for 24 or 36 hours and then start to get out even if the snow is sticking around. I live in Portland Oregon USA. We also know days in advance before snow or a freezing event. Thanks for the fun video.
I’m a huge truck fan and I love watching videos of snow plows and street sweeper from different places it is interesting how some places will push snow to the middle of the road and a snow blower will pick it up or where I live they push it to the side of the road and use a front loader to make piles. Or they just use front loaders with there buckets still on.
Must be very late in the night, as there is so little traffic around, and also I was wondering what type of blade/plow trip system does it have, when hitting curbs etc? One more thing I noticed, was how heavy that plow must be, as when the blade was raised, the front of the Scania dipped noticeably; then again, if it has air bag suspension, this would account for that 'dip'. Excellent video again, Thanks!
Yes, it was late in the night. The plow blade is divided into sections and have large springs on each section, as if it hits something on the road, one of the sections jumps up and goes back to normal afterwards. It think it has that type of suspension as you mentioned. Thank you for watching and commenting. =) Cheers.
