  • It’s been a big year for Tuktoyaktuk, NWT. The community is the site of kilometre zero of the the Great Trail, the longest recreational trail in Canada, which was recently completed. In november 2017, the Tuktoyaktuk to Inuvik highway will officially open, connecting the community with the rest of Canada, year-round. The Canada C3 team recently connected with the people of Tuktoyaktuk to discuss these developments - take a look.

@Malik Q.-N. the boarder closing (covid) kept me from doing it, but I’ll try again next year.

I'm an American, and I wish to visit Tuktoyaktuk. Seems very peaceful and friendly there. I wouldn't mind being the city Sheriff, either. >=P

Matthew Mayhem we arent a city its a community and if you want to become a sheriff you need to be a Canadian citizen then police officer then rank up then you become a sheriff the usual things

@@wildinferno0147 One year later, you replied; another year later, I'm replying. I know it's a community, but the point was that I want to visit and one day call that place my home. As an American, it's a long ways from my State, so it's merely a dream.

People must be getting some sort of allowance to live in North point...too cold with less facilities plus expensive...

I know very little of it but I drove alot in the virtual version of it in 18 Wheels Of Steel: Extreme Trucker game. Its very cool. I like it but in winters omg...im sure its really damnly cold there..judging from the game the weather is sooo changeable..one minute its a clear weather then couple mins later its a mist..maybe in real its not that terrible but who knows..

It’s SHAME THAT NEITHER THE PRIME MINISTER, TRUDEAU OR THE OPPOSITION HAVE FAILED THE PEOPLE OF TUKTOYAKTUK WITH THE $53M shoreline barrier that will prevent the land erosion.
