If u r using methods in research even in basic research also...they all follow scientific procedures, so every research is scietific in its nature.
Resesrch is not possible without scientific methods otherwise that research can never be generalized...

You can use the word unscientific with research but that unscientific research is only done for the sake of own experience and satisfaction.
