This interview was hard to watch because we can all agree he was being difficult and for the others in the room to validate his rudeness.
Y’all saying he’s humble but really truly he has a long way to go and y’all have a lot to learn.

i can see both sides, imagine being interviewed and the interviewer saying they don't know your song (should not have stated that) and she clearly didn't do any research. However these are the moments that either make u rise or fall
I’m sorry but this was sooo uncomfortable and unprofessional to watch. Felt like he thinks she’s annoying but why go on her show if that’s the case. How man problem drop in? Cyaa embarrass d young lady like that my yute. I love you as an artiste but this is distasteful 😢

I love Ton, she's not liked by many because she's educated and well spoken. In Jamaica, it you don't shape like a coco cola bottle, they feel like you shouldn't be happy. Ton speaks her mind and is very opinionated. She'll go very far!! Just you watch!!

He seemed annoyed by her. He probably knows her content and is not a fan of the things she says BUT he agreed to do an interview - being rude and cocky was totally unnecessary. Yeah, mi know mi fi go chuck through mi ancestors.

Tan should be an interviewer for real because she has an energy that brings out the interviewees even if they don’t want to. The interviews are entertaining to watch no matter the circumstances.

What a chaotic interview...I love it🤣
I like him but he was kinda giving her a hard time. He made it seem like every question was a setup. He was resistant to the majority of her questions. She actually handled herself well. Her questions we’re relevant. He wouldnt act like that with a male interviewer. Her questions were relevant to the platform shes on.
He avoided her best questions and he was using intimidation. The purposefully threw her off

Came here expecting more from the artiste than he gave. Well tried Ton, truly feel that these "celebrities" want to give what they feel like but want to make money offa an audience that they try hard not to be authentic with. Engaging with this content for Ton's sake but I tapped out after 8 mins.

He was policing and censoring her language throughout the entire interview; allmost as if he was trying to humble her, a common behavior of men who lack empathy. It felt abusive (think gaslighting). These questions weren't worth an in person interview. I feel bad for her for desperately wanting to interview him. "Never meet your idols" they say...

Sis, yuh neva watch di interview? she did say MULTIPLE times that it was last minute hence why the set-up wasnt the usual and there wasnt much time for her to prep.
@@ShanRoRo Though she said that what he said was right. Remember she said she has been trying to get him on the show for months, thats adequate time for research but all in all wasnt a bad interview
@@ShanRoRobut she did also say that she had been trying to get him for a while now and that she had always wanted him on the show. More research was definitely needed, her not knowing’Dunce Cheque’ when that is literally the show that made him blew off proved that. Not to mention that she literally said he was her fav artiste.

Hi this is my first time ever watching your podcast or anything pertaining to you what got me to watch this episode was because i saw Valiant and any one who Knows me know that i am a die hard Valiant fan he is even my imaginary husband but i think also this was my first full interview i saw from him and i must saw i wasnt impress i must commend you for being strong and holding your own because i think i was cutting the interview short if it was me something about his aura and energy didnt seem right but yours was way on point i think he needs media training as to how to speak to people because it was kinda looking like he wanted to reverse roles and be the one to interview you and i felt for you when u said it just feels like you cant do anything right in this interview because by me watching i felt the same anyways stay as bright and intelligent as you are keep shining much success 29:39

@@br0wnsugarplum maybe cos him and jaifraii are friends so it’s a more natural thing but there was certain things that could of been better but it was a good interview.
She said the interview was sudden, she did great considering that in mind, Valiant could have avoided answering questions he thought was a set up by saying next question or no comment, instead of embarrassing the poor girl n made the entire situation awkward. Now all every Jamaican will see when they view her, is she has man problem. Even future relationships for her, will be affected by this.
