Best of luck Claire! I’ll hopefully see you knocking about Conistone sometime on Friday. I’m trying (and slightly failing!) to keep the nerves at bay now!
Looking forward to seeing you there and cheering you off on Sunday, and what if I catch you up on the last 4 miles this time??? That would be awesome I could pay back the favour! This film might help with the nerves, the tips get better towards the end so keep watching! Hope it helps! ruclips.net/video/x__F0WN0HA0/видео.html
Good luck for the Lakeland 50 :) A very helpful video about packing the kit as I have a similar sized Montane race pack. Those side pockets are very handy for snacks!
Hey! A video on my race plan? Like as in take you through the timings and nutrition I have worked out on my gradient profile? Or a Tim chat? Let me know what you mean and I might be able to do one of these. Have you seen the whole playlist of Tim chats? They're sooo useful xx
Thanks Martin! The pack weight is 3.3kg including water and everything, and yes usually I train with about 4-5kg on long runs/hikes, I usually pop the info on my Strava, follow me on there for more info!
Thanks Laura, I'll have to give the Nike a go. I don't get chafing from the Shock Absorber Ultimate Run Bra myself, where does it chafe on you? You could put some K-Tape there prior to running if you know exactly where. Hope that helps! Claire
It's really good, seems durable so far too, it's a bit water resistant for a quick shower or drizzle but not waterproof that's why everything goes in clear plastic bags :)

Thanks glad you found this useful! They are aren't they. I just wish the one at the base of each waterbottle pocket was a bit deeper.
Hopefully will see you out there on Sat/Sun with you ‘rocking’ that hat! (I will feel very boring in my cap or beanie lol 😆)
Still time to buy a hat! ;) See you soon, Claire
@@wildgingerruns lol 😂 I still wouldn’t rock it like you do I’m afraid 😳
@@reinmansmith aah I'm sure you would! :)
Good luck 🙂
Thank you 😁 you too!
Good luck! Wishing you well. Thank you for this video and all the others. o/
Hope it helped you too! Thank you!
Hi, well done with finishing the Lakeland 50, I saw you filming at one point, are you going to put up a video of the run? Cheers
Hey Steven thank you, yes I'm editing it this week, and possibly next, they take a while! Was on hol last week. Claire
did you do a video on your race plan? loved this one and the nutrition one too. I am training for my first 54k in September.

What was the weight of the full pack? Ever trained with a heavier bag to make the race bag feel “lighter” ? 🤔 Good luck, you’ll smash it 💥

See you there on Friday are Saturday. Don't forget your £1 for jacob's ladder 👍
Fab see you soon Phil! Yes, £1 needed, must not forget that!
How do you stop the schock Absorber bra from chaffing?
Also, Nike eclipse 2 in 1 shorts are very similar to the Soars, but a bit cheaper.

That pack looks super, great capacity and looks resistant. Is it waterproof?
