With great respect to Sister BK Shivani, I like the answer of Sri Ramana Maharshi " everything is predetermined " and it makes logical sence ; we cannot know anything unless that knowledge is already existing, meaning anything that is to happen has already happened ; all our thinking, feeling and actions arise out of our own thoughts and thoughts are not being self generated but comes out in response to an external stimuli, how could there be a free will, is the question ? It is agreed that God is omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient ; if God is omniscient, the knowledge of the future is already known to God and if it is already known, such a knowledge cannot be in a state of flux as it were and therefore, the knowledge has to be pre-existing ! This is precisely the reason, a Realised Spiritual Master can predict the future with pin point accuracy, because he has seen what is to come before hand !
My question is if everything is predetermined then whats the point of creation..... in one word its idiocy. Again I'm not arguing whether the Shivani is right or Ramana Maharshri is right. I'm just searching for the answers myself because I feel like puking if I hear the teachings of Ramana Maharshi when he says everything is predetermined(Somewhere I read including drinking water is predetermined). If that is true Our Geetha would end in single sentence by God Krishna saying "Everything is predetermined, you are just my puppet".
