I love CT he is such a character. I got to see him once in concert playing flugal and trumpet at the same time....but the poor guy is so old, he can't see he can't hardly hear but then again can't feel sorry for a guy who can beat my best trpt playing on his worse day.
Wow only 2 minutes into vid and have to agree with drummer comments. These young guys are sweet musicians though lots of skill but understated and controlled
I'd be a bundle of nerves just sitting next to such a luminary let alone playing in front him. But hey, at the end of the day were all just musicians looking for a gig right?
clark was not only one of the greatest musicians of all time, but one of the most genuinely nice people one could ever hope to meet. miss you clark :(

oh my godness, what an amiable guy. he is a true master of bop articulation and phrasing.
