Man I cant tell you how happy I was to hear why you killed that pidgey. I had the same exact thoughts when I was a kid and I killed a shiny Caterpie on my way to the first gym. When the vc games came out It was the first thing I hunted so I could get back what I lost so many years ago.

I LOVED Let’s Go. I always figured it was because I started playing from pretty much the very beginning. Played yellow at a friends house and went the next day to get it and saw ….. Silver!!! My favorite of all time. The nostalgia has to be it but I felt it was an amazing game as well.

Pokemon x and y was the first game that I really got into hunting. Was stuck home due to being sick a lot in 11th grade and started hunting a lot after a random shiny.
I found a shiny pikachu in pokemon emeralds battle frontier pyramid where you can't catch wild encounters. I never tried anything In the battle frontier again 😂😂😫😫

My craziest shiny encounter was in Pokémon diamond . I was chaining for a Pokémon I don’t recall , at a chain of 46 and saw the shiny sparkle grass . I made a wrong turn and my chain was broken . But it was broken by a full odds graveler shiny . Caught it and then learned it had exlposion lol . Glad I caught with one ultra ball … the good ole days , best shiny hunting never was with the poke radar
