Just a note...when Lee "introduces" Kenji to Carter they both Lee and Kenji were speaking in Japanese. (Jackie does speak Japanese and he and the Japanese actor, at this time, had known each other for over 20 years)
Funnily enough, Jackie also does speak French. So when they're interrogating the Asian French assassin (the nun scene) and we get the bit where they say Carter: "Tell him to speak right!" Lee: "How can I tell him? I don't speak French." it's just a little ironic lol
Surprisingly Jackie is a polyglot and speaks alot of languages, he is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese and English, and is proficient in Korean, Thai, French, Spanish and German. He also knows American sign language oddly enough.
Some of the Eifel tower scene was done on a 20 foot set due to other actors being involved in the scene, however, according to the action & stunt director in the BTS, Jackie did jump on & in between the elavator & elevator cables & swung on the netting onto a beam at 500 foot up...They were actually perplexed at why, in the 1st Rush Hour they wouldn,t even let him jump into a 2nd story window from a tree without safety crap everywhere but in this movie in France, he was allowed to swing around on the Eifel Tower at 500ft in the air without a harness....
Way stricter for stars in America doing their stunts as opposed to Europe/Asia. Insurance goes insane for this stuff. This is also why Tom Cruise became a Producer and started producing his movies, so that he could do his own stunts and not have to worry about studios fretting over the insurance.
Rush hour 3 is amazing in my opinion I always found all 3 movies to be an outstanding trilogy honestly. If I would rank them it would be honestly in order which is one, two, then three
The "Kung Fu Giant" was played by Sun Mingming, a 7'9"-tall basketball player. That's 20 inches taller than Chris Tucker -- which is a big difference, but was clearly made to seem even bigger in the movie.
Rush Hour 3 was an entertaining movie to watch. In my opinion, I love the first two Rush Hour films more, but Rush Hour 3 was still good to watch. Also, Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan are close friends in real life. That is why they both have great chemistry in these movies. And Chris Tucker's character James Carter is my favorite character in the these movies. By the way Holden do you guys plans to watch the Bad Boys Trilogy.

I have been recently discovering the whole reaction community and a lot of other channels seem to stop after the first or sometimes second movie while there are still more to go. The scene where Lee watches a documentary on tv with some African Tribesmen, misses Carter, and orders fried chicken was hilarious. Then Carter is watching Short Round in Temple Of Doom, missing Lee, and ordering mu-shu was the cherry on top

I still think Rush Hour 3 is the weakest of the three but as I expected time had soften my opinion on it. The story doesn't flow as well as the first two and the movie just kind of ends. It would have been nice to see some kind of closure with Soo-Yung. They just sent her down the elevator and we didn't see her again. Even Shy Shen just kind of disappeared, being left at the fountain. I do hope they make at least one more. I know one has been rumored. Jackie and Tucker have a picture together holding up four fingers. So there may be hope.

Also, I love how they mirrored the first movie with having Carter and Lee dancing to "War" by Edwin Starr as they move down the street, especially here as they pass under the Eiffel Tower after knocking out the French cop. lol And yes, Sun Ming Ming, also known as the Kung Fu Giant IS that tall. He stands 7 feet 9 inches tall.
