Loved this map. Did a lot of logging. A few tips for ya JJ. The direction the chainsaw is cutting, is the direction the tree will fall. There are logging contracts you can do. I recommend the transport contracts, where you collect and deliver logs. Also, there are wood statues of animals scattered around the map (collectables) that pay $50K each. So exploring could pay off. Great video.
Thanks southfang I think I kinda figured out the trees always fell to the left. I did contracts on a playthrough a while ago to build up enough to Strat my own farm and I collected a bunch of the collectibles and I had a solar panel but idk it felt like I was cheating lol I know it’s not but it felt to easy I want to feel like I’m earning it so I don’t think I’ll do contracts or do collectibles for that reason. Thanks for the tips though I’m a super noob to this game so pretty much anything i don’t know lol. It’s all new and learning for me. Idk why i am this way but I guess the satisfaction you get from earning it all or doing it the hard way or whatever is the way I mostly like to play lol
he's right. Log collecting contracts are great money, bit finicky to handle crane controls at first. not as easy as snowrunner. But skidloaders or wheel loaders do a good job. I recommend truck with low trailer and ramp, with skidsteer with log grip. that worked well for me on these missions.

straps in this game are magical, you can have the most scuffed pack job and as long as its strapped it generally wont go anywhere
I just figured them out. I recorded a second video and didn’t understand them really I had one log which kinda fell out and I had it strapped but unstrapped it and was not able to get it out apparently even if the strap doesn’t go over but you packed the load it can kinda get stuck still you may have to unpack all 3. Is like to learn a bunch more cuz all kinds of farming are super confusing to me there is just so much stuff to do which I like but it’s like where to even begin lol. Maybe I’ll learn the basics then do a one like you mentioned before like relays mods start from scratch or something well see

I would suggest that you get a winch it will let you cut trees and pull them so you can cut and load from a central point.
i didnt know that was even a thing. im guessing thats a vehicle attachment? that sounds awesome i will certainly try to check into that the next video was recorded last night so it would be a minimum of the 3rd video if i figure that out. really appreciate the tip
FDR logging mods makes this enjoyable.
I’m very new with the game is fdr the maker of the mods? And then what kind of mods are they? Like just machines or is it like sale points or what thanks for the tip.
@@G4mingWithJJ Fdr logging makes the mods it’s a big pack, machines and maps. Everything you need to log. He has a yt channel and discord.

The amount they pay is based on tipe of tree and length and the best length for this trailers is 6 meters that way you will get the most per tree in theory. And try to get rid of the credit as fast as posible. 👍👍
Oh wow so is it not worth it to have the trees super long even if they fit like the end parts it old still be better to shoot for 6 meters? Is there a spot where you can see roughly how much the trees sell for or not really this was very helpful thank you.
Well there is no way to now the exact price apart from try and error but as far as i have been able to find the best price i think is betwen 6 and 8 but since not all trees are exact same its hard to figure out. That is why i recomend the 6 becouse easier to load so you can make more trips to sell. Anyways not a huge diference so dont worry to much

i think the next video is where i went to the fuel station was like ummmm. i barely now anything about farm sim but i like having everything on and want to learn to do all the things needed to do each farming thing. i dont use mods really but i know there are some that are technically mods not dlc but anything in specific you recommend? the only one i really know is the precision farming one

@@4ToMiKA awesome thanks! I know there is a few mods that are like the precision farming made by or supported by giants or whatever so they are basically dlc but for some reason a mod lol. But yeah the fuel cans would be kind of a cool one. I’ll take a look at them at the very least not sure what I’d all use or not.

Thanks spoon much appreciated the tips. Someone here mention the best length of log for my trailer is 6 meters does that mean anything over say for example 12 meters but the weight is like 198 or something so I can lift it myself is it better to cut that to 6 and 6 for more money and is there a list of what trees are worth what somewhere I think logging is one of the best ones to start with but I’d like to learn all the kids of farming on here.

@@G4mingWithJJ without the mod "superstrenght" you can’t lift more then 200kilos. Thats why some big pieces of wood you can lift it but some small no. If you put the info on in the menu you see the weight.
@@QRLSpoon thanks spoon did find that out somehow I think I seen a video but then I was cutting some stuff and I had one at like 198 and some just over like 202 and stuff but I figured the limit was 200 I did get super strength as a mod to mess around but I won’t be using it on these playthroughs.

I’ve played the game a few times here and there but I’ve only cut down 3 trees as practice for logging so very new with the controls lol I’ve played a bit like grass and did some contracts like fertilizing and some harvests but I hardly know what to do with anything else

Yeah I am terrible I never play enough to know how to do anything but hopefully this time it sticks lol I’d like to a bunch of successful farms on all the different areas just to learn how to do them all so I understand the basics but yeah right now I’m like a failing farmer that should be the series names until I figure them all out lol failing farmer tires grapes!
