Well, an unfortunate week for the Bees with just one point coming from it. It could so easily have been six or seven! Ivan could have had a hat-trick in the first half, but it was not to be and it was the very first time that I have ever seen him miss a penalty. Respect to him to come back and put the second one away, but I have never seen him take such a bad spot kick like the first one. There was no pace on it and it was un- Ivan like. On the whole it was a good battling performance and, in my opinion, a much better and sharper performance than against Manchester United the previous Wednesday. I think that with such a poor points return out of the last three games we can probably say goodbye to our European dreams for this season. Perhaps it will be a blessing in disguise so that we don't have the double burden of the Premier League and one of the European competitions. If we do happen to turn the corner and have a great grandstand finish to the end of the season and sneak a European spot then great I will take it! I am more than pleased with the way we have performed this season and all credit to everyone connected with the club. The big positive is that we are still developing and getting better and better and we have certainly come a long way and our journey is not over yet. COYB!!!🐝🐝🐝
