Something I’ve had personal experience with. And it hurts. And to others, it may be that you are good friends with someone, and may be developing feelings for them, but don’t want to screw that up by telling them that you love them because that may change the entire dynamic of the relationship/friendship. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve cried listening to this song. And I’m an older male. It’s extremely relatable. This is why Billie has connected with so many different types of people. By singing extremely vulnerable and relatable songs.
