A year later and the price of this engine has increased 50% to now $150. Still worth it... but 50% inflation in 1 year. Rediculous. Usually it takes 10 years for the dollar to lose half its value.
Thanks for watching and commenting. I haven’t had one problem with the pedator. I treat it like a snowblower. Stays in the shed all year. I start it the day before the first snow of the season. I snowblow the driveway, around the barn area and the parking lot. Then when I’m done back in the shed till the next storm.

I did have to move the mounting bracket but there where stamped knock outs on the deck that had to be removed. After I drilled them out I reused the same mounting brackets and the spacing was a perfect fit.
brandon murphy that would have been a little easier. Harbor Freight had the 212cc predator on the shelf and it only comes with the smaller shaft. Thanks for watching and for your comment

No the headlight doesn’t work. This engine didn’t come with a stater. I have seen other videos where the person put on an after market one.

For an 11 hp 30" machine I probably would have gone with their 301cc or 420cc motors. 420 preferably.

What about the deck mounting holes, do they line up with the deck that a Tecumseh Snow King uses?

Idk the 212 is little underpowered at that point. Thats a 11 horse machine

How did you notch the pulleys and then how long was the key way
Glen Van Swol I cut the notch in the pulleys with a Dremal tool. The key way was about a half inch long on each one.
Too small of an engine for a 30" bucket. It will big down big time once you hit snow.
Not true in my case. Been running strong for 2 winters. Last winter we had a snow storm that dumped 40inches of snow. Never skipped a beat.
