willem duin is overleden maar arie ribbens wordt nu BIg mouth.Ik geloof alleen dat de weduwe van willem duin ,Ingrid krupp daar niet zo blij mee is

Als je kanker hebt, zoals Arie Ribbens, lijkt optreden en reizen me niet het eerste waar je behoefte aan hebt, nee. :) Maar ik ben het met je eens dat dat duo niet bepaald een aanwinst was.
@MaistaVKA -- Yeeeah... I think you're right. I took some time to read their lips, and except that the video is a little off in timing, it does follow what they're saying. Of course, I still have no clue what they're saying! lol

Mouth & Maggie MCNeal, konden in die tijd goed zingen. Vindt het respectloos voor Willem om Arie Ribbens(de) nieuwe Mouth te noemen. en jammer dat Willem Duyn 2004 overleden is.

Watching this makes me sad. Shame on you MacNeal. This imposter is not worthy of standing in Willem Duyn's shadow. Obviously, MacNeal was trying to get someone, a man, big and with beard to replace Willem, but this is horribly offensive. RIP Willem Your talent shines on in my memories and they've not faded and they never will.
I agree!!! Why is he called Mouth? There could only ever be one Big Mouth, Willem Duyn, and he is irreplaceable ...

I am not condemning. If you look twice at the man sitting with her in the interview, it's obvious that he is NOT Willem Duyn...Have you looked at later video interviews and single videos of Willem Duyn performing alone? Find that hour long interview he did with a Dutch presenter, it included his wife and was awesome. If you look twice at the real Mouth who is performing with McNeal at the beginning of the video you can clearly see the other guy is a replacement. I even knew his name but forgot it, do know that he performed with McNeal sometimes as Mouth after Willem Duyn passed away...
This man is indeed not Willem Duyn. I'm from The Netherlands, the country where as well MacNeal (real name: Sjoukje van 't Spijker), as the real Mouth (real name Willem Duyn indeed) come from too. Maggie MacNeal wanted to revive the duo, but since Willem Duyn died some years ago plus the fact that they weren't on speaking terms anymore since 1975, a B-artist who's known here as a singer of typical dutch carnival songs, was asked to replace him. They mainly did this for the german market, where there's a huge golden oldies-circuit, and thus much money to possibly be earned. The man's real name is Arie Ribbens. I totally agree with John Schips en IntheLandofMordor that this performance is dreadful to watch ánd to listen to. Sjoukje shouldn't have done this.

Sorry hoor, maar wat een belachelijke vraag. :D Mouth and MacNeal (het originele duo met Willem Duyn dan, niet met deze clown Arie Ribbens) behoren nog altijd bij de internationaal succesvolste artiesten van Nederlandse komaf. Dan is het dus vrij logisch dat er mensen gaan reageren die geen Nederlands spreken omdat ze nou eenmaal niet uit ons land komen. :D En dan is het ook wel zo sociaal dat je dan ook als Nederlander in het Engels reageert, zodat iedereen het kan begrijpen. :)
