Boomers had it reeeal easy, i don’t wanna hear them crying about how gen z is this and that.
As someone who grew up in Detroit back in the 60's and 70's - there will be MANY more jobs lost to A.I. than A.I. creates, especially for those who don't have a tech background.
The printing press did not have the ability to reason, reply, act on requests, generate images, music, complete books based on a prompt, and the list could go on.
This guy is obviously an AI and they are already trying to trick us.
He lost all credibility the second he said it would create jobs.

Since this reporter sounds so exicited about A.I taking jobs maybe it should take his as well.
The general trend is that AI will not create more jobs than it eliminates since its objective is to increase productivity by eliminating jobs.
In other words, if you’re educated in that field you might get a decent job but if you’re not educated in those fields, you’ll starve
It'll take jobs away from humans and create jobs for artificial bots .. Just look at all the layouts already at google
WALL-E was spot on. We're going to be super lard-o's traveling around on wheelchairs. Or worse, Terminator compost.
The problem is these companies are collecting our data to create AI and we are not getting incentivized. UBI needs to happen.
Everyone has an opinion and this guy has his. I'll tell you what though... we've never shared this planet with an intelligence far greater than our own. And that is why this SOO much bigger than the printing press analogy.
And one of the first jobs to go will be all these news anchor talking heads. Have you seen some of those AI fake people ads on RUclips? 😂
They didn't mention how employees can now fire their companies. Why work for x company when you can use ai and what you know to provide the same exact service, maybe at a higher level than the company who may let you go? That's a trend that is possible with ai. Its a whole new world.
Ai will replace nbc news anchors and maybe even reporters looks like her job has gone 😂
AI is going to replace non manual labor jobs first, like being a news reporter.
i really feel bad for kids under 4 with AI around. What are these kids going to do when they turned 18?
Newscasters will be on the top list to replace
