I think most games forget that silencers don't block all the sound, they only muffle it very little. So if you’re in a room with a silencer, everyone will still hear it.

black ops 1 is my favorite cod so black ops cold war hurts my soul due to the different voice actors for wood, mason and so on. I have to admit this mission was really dope idea and very cool to have zakhaev in the level, plus the setting is extremely dope. that's when cod campaigns are at their best when they use or play off real life themes/events or places.

The campaign in Cold War wasn't the worst, but I definitely didn't enjoy it much. The longer the campaign goes on, the worse the writing gets. Which is more than BO3 and Vanguard being bad from the start and getting worse.
Multiplayer wasn't great, but better than Vanguard by comparison.
Zombies had a good start, but they poured too many resources into Outbreak which got bland really fast. But still way better than Vanguard zombies.

My dad was a Sargeant in the Cold War and he said this game is very accurate.
As I can say great Campaign but honestly I don't like the storyline because it had no major connection with BO1 and 2. It's funny for game that should've been a direct sequel but not even following the original plot. Not even mentioning Operation Charybdis, Mason assasinating JFK, Menendez's rise of power, Korean war flashback, or Woods' operation after being presumed dead. Instead they made an entirely different storyline and mostly forget everything that happened in BO1 or 2, and only using Mason, Woods, and Hudson as a minor character. Which makes it more fit to be BO's reboot rather than direct sequel.
Also back in BO1 or 2 it had more historical stuffs they put into it and sadly very few of them included in BOCW and none of missions were even set in real conflicts of Cold War (except those couple Vietnam backstory). It would be better if they discover those conflicts that happened in South Africa, Lebanon, Angola, or Iran/Iraq as in the 80s there were lots of wars happened in Asia, Africa, or South America caused by Cold War and they just ignores it like those were never happened. Such a missed opportunity.
And also the most important one I see lacks of chaotism in CW Campaign. Unlike in BO1 or 2 where you can see a lots of actions where soldiers attacking and charging together, tons of explosions, tanks, helis, planes are everywhere attacking you. While CW didn't had those things that makes me amazed by the atmosphere of war.
Overall 7/10 Campaign, but 3/10 for Multiplayer.

The reason why numbers are appearing on the screen as you play as Mason is because Mason is manipulated and became a test subject, Mason would later think he is Reznov due to Reznov saying: "We are one Mason." while being manipulated, Mason then find out he was manipulated then boom Mason now remembers everything and help USA win Vietnam War, Mason still has memories of the numbers though, so yea. You're not getting hacked.

granato- sounds like Italian... the Russian word is granata. What he shouts is “granatu” - Russian nouns have declensions (cases), like when you say He -> him. Objective case, object of seeing/ doing... Do you see Him ? Do you see the granade? ... granatu .. (don’t remember the exact context).
