Thanks for this Nick. Makes me more confident about doing this today. Top tips on the pie cut and that safety wedge to stop it falling as it drops. Great stuff. Cheers.
A big tree limb fell on our , and another tenants car. We called the new landlord, his son came to look at the damage. I told him it only scratched our car and we would not be calling our insurance company. That was almost three weeks ago! Some workers helped to take the limb of our car and it has been sitting there ever since. The limb is long as hell but not too thick. I am going out now( in this heat, and cutting it into movable pieces. Am I wrong in doing this? The giant limb is sitting in front of a tenants car who has been on summer vacation. I don’t think he would appreciate it after a nice vacation. I will put the limb on the side of our building for the landlord to deal with……Who does that?? Is this what we are to aspect from the new landlord?? Let me say this… our new landlords have long beards…. Catch my drift. It’s a shame too because I love all races but you hear things and hope all these stories you hear are from ages ago. True?? NOT!! Fact Jack!!
This was the best demo for our application- we needed a controlled fall for a tall nearly vertical tree limb! Thank you.
Most useful video I’ve watched on cutting trees with a handsaw! And I’ve been watching them basically all day, haha. Thanks!
Thanks very much and sorry for the late reply.
