Man academies don’t even teach this as clear as you do! The fact you are dropping free dimes and content like this is a blessing for all aspiring barbers. Great work, looking forward to the rest of the series 🔥👏🏾
Your welcome my brother. Always a pleasure. I used to educate at a barber academy. But now I decided to do my own thing. And teach the world on RUclips. Thanks for watching my brother. Respect again. 👊🏼🥢💈
I also remember when i started learning 6 years ago, these are the videos i needed. So its time to give back and make the next generation of barbers even better!!
This is exactly what I mean. The content and production value is top tier. Don’t think people realise how lucky we are to have barbers like yourself who give back knowledge like this which would cost grands at academies!
Detail oriented and practical at the same time. Simply free gold online. I'd be nice to learn styling and blow drying from you. Thanks! Keep these educational videos up, please.
Man your videos are awesome. I have been cutting my son's hair for 8 years as he is autistic and doesn't like the noise or the environment in my barbers. It has been a nightmare but your tutorials have helped so much, wish I'd found them earlier. Thanks for your help.👍😀
Awesome!!! Thanks for the tutorial, very needed!!! that's a kinda dificult hair type to cut and this really help. Please, don't forget about the shed tour!!!! Blessings!!!
An episode on the specifics of using texturising scissors would be good. Currently waiting to go back to LSB for the last four days of my Level 2 course so will only get limited time there to ask and be shown. So any information on the different uses for texturising scissors would be great. For instance, I know you can use them to finish off a fade after some clipper over comb. If you could go into that I think it would be useful. Great videos, by the way. Keep them coming.
I just want to say, over the last week or so, I've gone through and watched just about all of your videos, and I am thoroughly impressed! I am just now beginning my barbering journey and I find your videos to be extremely helpful! Thank you for breaking everything down and explaining it exceptionally well the way you do!
Definitely appreciate this video and what you're doing for the barber community. As a barber student and some one thats only been cutting for a year this has helped tremendously.
"Tips of your scissors" So thats why my LSB scissors have gone blunt 😅. This one is some absolute tekkerz. Using the index to hold the guide while u sweep and grab the hair with the middle finger. Defo gotta try this. Again great content bro. Could defo do with a clipper over comb vid.
Bro you don’t know how much I appreciate these breakdown videos. As a beginner barber the steps are so clear and really helpful. Keep up the good work g 🥢🤞🏽
I know this is a year old video and so this is new to me, but i just used this technique on my son’s hair cut and i have to say it came out okay for my first time using shears. Thanks for the video.
Big respect for these vids bro. Very helpful. Ima ex student of lsb and covids made the tekkers a bit rusty but I learn something new from every vid. Keep up the content 👌
Awesome video Jase. I really enjoyed the asmr part it in the end. Very soothing and almost put me to sleep. The sound of the scissor snapping away is just 😍
I’d like to see some more basics, like how to hold clippers and trimmers as well as using the lever and how to clean your equipment as well as some anatomy
Fantastic video mate , you explained it with great clarity. , Could you do a video on a full scissor cut, that doesn't require all the sectioning, thanks
Absolutely loving this series beginner barber here and this is so helpful god bless you 🙏🏻 would love to see some info on scissor over comb, higher guard, high corners and a video on how to use the clippers to fade like how you mentioned in a previous video about pressure and angles explaining it more. Really appreciate these videos especially this new series thanks so much. Camera man is doing a great job also please keep them coming looking forward to these Thursdays now thanks again.
Hey Jack! It's great to hear that you're getting into the trade and that my vids are helpful to you. Will defo bear your suggestions in mind for future vids on this series. Stay tuned and best of luck on your journey into barbering 👊🏼🥢
A fantastic tutorial! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise with us Barber Jase. I'd be keen to know more about your background in the industry, where you started off and how long have you been barbering for. Great content and I look forward to the next video.
Thanks Jason. Thanks for watching and that’s a good suggestion. Will deffo do an about me video soon, but it won’t be very interesting though! Lool 👊🏼🥢😂
Thankyou sir for this content, definitely this is the best scissor work that I watched. Tried it few hours ago to my cousins and it helps me a lot in shearing. You deserve a lot of subscribers! Bless up to you sir.
Dude! You are literally killing it, I don’t see why your subscriber amount isn’t stupid high right now you deserve all the following! For real man I’m in a barber academy and just from the videos you’ve posted I’ve learned so much more than in school! Keep up the great work man, I would be sad if you didn’t post any content🙏🏼
Great video! I'm gonna be cutting hair at my summer camp this summer, and we won't be allowed off camp to get our haircut so all they boy's are expecting me to come through haha. Could you go over how to use thinning shears or clipper over comb in your next vids?
After you make it all even you point cut it. So what is the point of taking the time to cross checking it to make sure all even in every angle. Thanks. Please explain when you have the chance. I am learning how to be a barber. Appreciate your tutorial.
Always cross check because you might miss some bits out. Also to check the shape. Once you have a good solid shape you can customise it to create movement and to remove weight. 👊🏼🥢
🔥 video bro, just getting into barbering and this is pretty useful for me. If you could make a video talking about shaping, weight that would be great!
This is a great video here’s a question. When you move to the sides of the head when would you keep your fingers parallel to the floor instead of 90° to the head. I see some barbers as they move towards the side they are still keeping their fingers pretty much parallel to the floor instead of rounding off to the shape of the head. Not sure if this makes sense what I’m asking?. Hope you understand
Would you do box graduation to connect sides to top for a more square shape versus doing vertical side connection sections for a rounded shape like your client (cousin)? Would the sweeping/sectioning technique be possible for a self cut?
Thinning shears are good for removing weight around the connection area. I prefer texturising (point cutting) because I can control how much to remove without destroying my primary shape, which thinning shears can do.
Start off with a cheap pair between £50-£100 first. Because you probably drop them when learning. Also after u master them, Upgrade to take your cuts to the next level.
@@abhinavruckhunty8562 i started with the 6"" the stag from hunt and hutsle for £130. good solid pair of scissors. just dont drop them or cut dirty hair with them.
